Her mum knows that if she recovers from her ED and becomes independent and has friends, her daughter wont need her. Her mother is involved in every aspect in her life and doesn't want to loose that control. Having her daughter weak and tired and no basic skills keeps her right next to her. She would rather her daughter at deaths door than thriving on her own. And a big part of it is financially. It's actually so terrible and heart breaking to watch

Thank GOD for the mother I have. When she found out I was struggling with anorexia she did everything in her power to help me. Even when I was being ungrateful and hateful about her help. Now that I am a mother myself I don’t know how can a mother sit there and let her babygirl destroy her self .

@@colesuqs yeah her mother is milking her for money. this is the same case like with nicocado avocado, but he's more mature (i can't believe i'm writing that) and self aware. eugenia may be self aware too but because of her mother she can't do anything. we watch them to see if they got any better, eugenia never does. and probably never will.

I agree there's definetly some damage done but I don't know if it's hopeless, I am not sure I agree with you there. People are always going to leave comments like this bc the situation is absurd and hard to watch. I remember finding her channel when I was younger, my friend showed me it. And I thought she was so pretty, and I wanted to look like her. I still find myself thinking things like, “well if she’s that far into it and still breathing, than I can do it too”. I’d see her as an inspiration for my own ED. I never wanted to reach her size, but It helped my distorted thinking because I would tell myself it’s okay as long as I don’t get THAT skinny. I’m 20 now and still trying to figure out how to have a healthy relationship with food. This channel is damaging to young impressionable teens.

@@sambored9387 And you're invalidating their experience by saying that, so how is that different? Fact is, well-known, influential people can and do influence many people through their actions. It's one of the main reasons so many people on the left wanted Trump's head after the insurrection. They felt he had influenced those people to do it and honestly, they probably had a point.
CZcams shouldn't even allow a channel like this to exist. I'm sorry if that hurts the content creators feelings, but she absolutely should know that she's inadvertently inspiring young people to follow in her dangerous foot steps. Did anyone else notice that while Eugenia was walking into the arcade, her mother kept panning the camera down to her daughters' way too thin stick legs? She was literally placing visual emphasis on her bones the exact same way that eugenia does when body checking. It's like her mother is PROUD of her for being so small. It's disgusting, and there's no way this girl is ever going to recover when she's surrounded by people that actively encourage her eating disorder.

Honestly I think her mother is jealous of her, and basically lives through her. Their relationship isn't normal for Eugenia's age, regardless of Eugenias mental health. I truly believe Deb failed Eugenia as a mother in so many ways. A parent can't make up for giving their child a bad childhood once they're an adult. I feel so bad for Eugenia. It seems like Deb is very controlling behind the scenes. The fact that Eugenia hasn't had any friends or relationships in years is super concerning. I hope somehow, someday she can break free from her mother and live a healthy life.

she asks questions about the most normal and simple things like "do we open this door?" has she never went to a public building before? it reminds me of asking my mom questions like this when i was 10. i cant imagine being almost 30 and still not knowing things like which door to open or even just being willing to see if the door works and risk 5 seconds of embarrassment. i know she enjoys the attention for her condition and being the skinniest girl and all that, but i cant imagine any of that is worth looking back at your life and realizing you never tried any cool experiences and spent your whole life in pain in a small room with no friends. i felt so much FOMO for fun experiences like parties and traveling just a few years ago. now i do these things and im so much happier and feel like i will look back on my life with the best memories being when i finally got out and got to enjoy life and enjoy the world.

Is it me, or does something seem so off about her recent videos? She never used to go out like this and it almost seems forced? Like, it seemed like she got bad news about her health or something and her mom or someone is forcing her to enjoy life.

The light in her eyes seems completely dead. We all know Eugenia has to get better mentally before she can get better physically. She literally cannot physically recover without mentally recovering. But everything about her body language seems so off, uncomfortable, uneasy, etc.

Of course immediate physical health intervention is needed to keep her from dying, but mental health comes first in beating an ED. One must get out of the mindset otherwise no matter how much you physically recover, it won't have any lasting effect. I know I can't try to reason with the ED mindset because I've been there. I just want her to know she would break so many hearts and is worrying so many hundreds of thousands of people right now who just want to see her be healthy and alive and well. If she took a break and got treatment (better than the traumatic experience she had before) then we would be here cheering her on, and she would gain a whole bunch of new followers and admirers!

I suspect it's because she struggles with decisions because that places responsibility on her. So, if something catastrophic happens because she opens the door (unrealistic thinking), she would be the sole person to "blame", so she asks the question so she is not the only one to blame.

Y’all remember Shane Dawson’s documentary 3 years ago? How she skirted around her even having any sort of disorder despite the documentary being about her life after “rehab.” The fact that she couldn’t even say the word “anorexia” out loud in shanes documentary spoke so loudly to me. She doesn’t want to admit she has a serious problem. I think she loves her eating disorder. If she isn’t forced to get help her organs will begin to shut down. The question is: what would be the catalyst to make her want to get better……
I think not being able to walk and being tired would be catalysts. That is assuming she does have anorexia. Having to be carried. But even then it might be too late.
in a lot of her later videos, she's doing things she's probably always wanted to do.. she knows she's on the brink of death. i think she's trying to finish her bucket list, or enjoy the last of her days before she's soon truly gone.

I knew someone who never felt enough. She was smart and beautiful and kind. She was successful. But she had severe anorexia.
One day, as an adult, she was leaving the train and her bones SHATTERED. She literally one day just broke....
She was in a wheel chair when I met her. She told me her story. We became friends. I tried cooking for her.... Tried buying her food. She wouldn't eat anything other than spoonfuls and broth....
She died with a year of me befriending her from her illness.
One of the last things she said to me was while she was showing me her photo album. She was looking at pictures of herself from when she was young she said to me "I always thought I was stupid and ugly and fat.... But now I don't see it.... I was never stupid and ugly and fat"...
She died shortly after....
Please Eugenia... Get help... Before it's too late.

You know that feeling when you don't eat for almost the whole day you start getting that feeling like you're drunk. It's probably how Eugenia feels everyday so acts like a kid.
I actually do this because I have C-Ptsd and anxiety amongst other things and I dissociate and daydream a lot lmao but despite being so ditzy have a 4.0 college gpa

Mine are a bit more severe than most, I have problems leaving my house and even making a phone call is agonizing. i could never socialize as a job or put myself online like she does. Everyone always tries to diagnose her and the og commenter is incredibly new to the channel. Eugenia is the one who stated that she doesn't have anything like that.
This is just another one of those "She has autism" "she's held hostage by her mom". Everyone loves to make assumptions about her life because it's one big mystery.

Eugina is a social butterfly she doesn't fear people in the slightest, she adores every drop of attention she can get including twerking on a big rock in front of a crowd of people. Could she have it? Sure but in the end she has already said on stream that she doesn't. The minute my mom suspected I had an eating disorder she was concerned and finding ways to help me and we didn’t even have a good relationship back then so the fact that Eugenia’s mother has watched her kid get worse and worse over the years and has done nothing about it baffles me truly. This girl is clearly a danger to herself and we’re all just watching her slowly waste away.

Does anyone know if there is an adult protective services in Connecticut where she lives and therefore they could go into the home, observe the weird dynamic between Eugenia and her mom, and get Eugenia help? I ask this because on the show Hoarders they're always talking about Adult Protective Services, and I wonder if they could provide families any assistance for eating disorder treatment. Her mom is either the most delusional person in the world, or deliberately keeping her daughter away from treatment because she is cruel. Perhaps if you independently check yourself in to a treatment center you can extricate yourself from your mother and that way you will feel more control about the situation. There is Adult Protective services in every state. The thing is, they usually only investigate if it is an "incapacitated" adult or an elderly individual. To be incapacitated you have to basically be unable to do anything for yourself (disabled). I know it seems to fit her, since we can clearly see how dependent she is, but I doubt they would investigate. I mean, anyone can call their concerns in to APS, though and see what they say. Just Google the hotline number.

Yeah :/ She makes friends so easily! She could, for instance, walk into a Goth club alone and walk out popular with a ton of friends to do stuff with. She did mention having friends, and it's possible we don't see/hear from them because she is famous and they want privacy, but I also wonder if she's being prevented/made to feel guilty for wanting to go out with friends because Deb wants her to stick close to home, wants to keep her dependent, and did not give her the self-confidence to venture out on her own to do things socially or otherwise. As a Mom I couldn't do that. I want my kids to enjoy time with me, sure, but to have their own friends too, and independence. I hope I'm wrong, and I mean no disrespect, Eugenia! I just hope that you are living your life the way you want to by your own free choice. And know there are tons of us here who would hang out with you and each other IRL if it were possible.

Eugenia’s story is very sad, and I know a lot of people want her to seek help, but in my opinion this is her life and her choice on how she lives it. Many people on the internet dedicate so much of their time talking about her and hoping for her to get help.. but there is absolutely nothing we can actually do for her. Some people choose an unhealthy lifestyle whether it be through drugs, alcohol, or in this case an eating disorder.. we don’t know what pushed them to the point of self sabotage, which makes it very hard to help. At the end of the day she has to be the one to seek wellness for herself. You can’t help someone who doesn’t want it. She seems happy with where she’s at, even though it’s not good for her. We just have to let her ride the high until she crashes unfortunately.

Idk man I was a heroin addict for 10 years I know so many others who were and nobody really chooses to live their lives this way. We don’t see it coming to THIS… it’s just seemingly impossible to escape once you’re there. Eugenia is like an addict, she has no free will that isn’t dictated by her disease. There’s a reason interventions have been around for so long and why most people are forced to go to treatment once they lose everything or feel close to, not while they’re able to live comfortably enough to convince themselves they’re alright (like Eugenia)

If I was Deb, looking through the camera lens & seeing my baby standing there emaciated, barely any life left, I would feel extreme guilt, & sadness. Deb sees her everyday, Eugenia’s health probably doesn’t shock her mom anymore because she’s grown blind to it. I can see Eugenia finally getting the help she needs, choosing life, but by then the damage will be done, & any life saving measures will only give her days/weeks. I suspect it's because she struggles with decisions because that places responsibility on her. So, if something catastrophic happens because she opens the door (unrealistic thinking), she would be the sole person to "blame", so she asks the question so she is not the only one to blame.
