Sometimes I when I listen to the stuff I used to listen to as a teen and as a young adult I find it extremelly irritating...I am glad that I found this music.
I was born in Ireland 🇮🇪☘💚, a part of the family was from there, but, on the other side of the family, I have my German grandmother, so I feel half German 🇩🇪♥️🍺. And I have "Gerd" and "Klaus" in my name. 🇩🇪 🇮🇪 !

Klaus Schulze developed a unique style of ambient electronica of which I've been a fan since 1977. He also played the drums on Tangerine Dream's 1970 debut, was an integral part of the Krautrock scene via Ashra Tempel AND played progressive rock in Stomu Yamash'ta's Go...I have some 200 albums from his entire career, but for chrissakes, the true vanguards and pioneers did the groundwork in the 30s!!! Go back to school...

Listening to Klaus makes everything and everyone totally insignificant. Time slows down and its final tick seems stuck in the event horizon of temporal infinity.

Genau AWG, Klaus ist einmalig, der Erkennungswert ist sehr hoch...zumindest bei den Personenkreis die Ihn kennen...und das sind nicht mehr viele. Ich hoffe Klaus wird uns noch das eine oder andere Meisterwerk zu Gehör bringen

Gibt es irgendwo den nachlesbaren Text?? Abgesehen von dem von International Space Station erwähnten und tatsächlich kuriosen "who gives a shit" sind Wörter wie "Revier" und "Ruhrpott" beim wiederholten Zuhören deutlich erkennbar. Aber manche Passagen erschließen sich mir einfach nicht.
Ich weiß nicht, was Du an dem Text nicht verstehst. Es ist eine Hommage an das Ruhrgebiet, wie es vor etwa 30 Jahren noch war; mit Zechen und Schwerindustrie - hier aber das Augenmerk auf die Zechenlandschaft gelegt. Pits = Stollen; Revier = Ruhrgebiet; Ruhrpott = Revier. Ich weiß nicht, aus welcher Ecke Deutschlands (?) Du kommst, aber, es gibt eine CD von KS, die heißt "Dosburg online", übersetzt "Duisburg 'online'", welche Stadt ja im äussersten Westen des Ruhrgebietes liegt. Dieses sollte als Erklärung reichen. Gruß

it's a great recording, i just really don't like the vocals especially in the first song. "who gives a shit about the common man?", everyone is common there's just an outrageous number of people who are denial about it. i give a shit about 3common people, my kids& Euronymous. everyone else, imo, shouldn't have been born. including myself.
