ugh, what a movie. I remember watching it younger and not understanding what was really hapening. Then watching it again years later when Im more mature and cant handle it. Tears for hours
Jared Depew exactly what happened to me. Watched it so many times with my mon as a child, always singing along and sobbing at the end. And then watched again a few weeks ago, and literaly cried half the movie wondering how'd my mom handle it with me near her back then
Same for me!!
Jared Depew same
Same here....i watched it as a very young girl and didt really get it and found it boring, after few years i watched it again and couldnt stop crying....and since that time i have seen it many many times....such a sad sad ending, but despite of it a "happy" one, seeing Julia and Susanne side by side
DITTO!!!!!
I always think of this scene whenever this song plays. It’s been years, but these types of scenes stay with you for life. Great acting by Susan Sarandon and the kids. ❤️
Yup
I’m too young to think of this scene but still love the movie. I always think of that one scene in guardians of the galaxy 1
The same....
Absolutely!!!!
same! cant listen to the song without this scene popping in my head!
My most favorite scene of whole movie. She just loves her kids. I get swollen throat tryinh to hold back tears. This is me my daughter and young son. Tell me why after this I played this and danced to it with my kids too.
Haleyey
Such a beautiful moment, god bless you and your kids
Me and my three boys used to dance this going to school. Two years ago my 22 year old son played this at his wedding for mother-son dance. It stays with them.

This reminds me of when before my mom died from the breast cancer she was fighting from 1992 to 2013. 1 week before she got so sick to the point of not being able to move anymore I got her to dance with me to a few songs and then a month later she was gone I was 21 at the time and 5 years have passed and I still can't get over her but I know I will be seeing her again
In my opinion, you have not to get over, but to get with. A huge, warm hug from italy to wherever you live.
TheUnknownPleasures Awww I am sending a big hug back to you from Beach Park Illinois USA ❤
Nikki N I don't know you, but your comment reminded me how important is to share only love to our beloved ones. I hope you are ok and I only can wish the best for you and your family. A big hug from Brazil! ❤️
I'm awful sorry for your loss at such a young age! I am sure she watches over you :)
Much love for you. I lost my dad two months ago and is hard. You're very brave and strong.
This sequence breaks my heart.
But at the same time, brings a lot of joy.
Well obviously I can’t imagine a world without my mom!
@@alexblatchford4147it’s not easy but we learn how to adjust. That being said this movie is much different now since I lost my mom.
"But that's one of The Guardians of the Galaxy's song" "Oh look, Guardian's of the Galaxy might know the words babe, but Stepmom invented the moves" 😉
Marvel Studios!
Hleyey
No not marvel not guardisns..... diana ross queen of soul.
It was used in Remember the Titans too
Tammy Terrell
Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts did such an amazing job on this movie. One of my childhood favorites, an unforgettable movie for sure. I have watched it so many times and the impact is still the same each time. One of a kind!
Ich komme aus Germany und liebe den Film...Julia Roberts und den mega Song von Mama 💗 und Kindern
I used to cry so much to this scene everytime I watched this movie when I was a kid
Haleyey
This scene is so precious
Haleyey
When i was little my mom, brother and I tried to recreate this scene and we danced around to this song. My moms bed had one of those canopy things too and I tried to pull the edge off like the boy in the movie but when i did it...it broke the whole canopy lol.
😂😂😂
Haleyey
🤣 Oh my goodness! That’s actually hilarious. Did you get in trouble?
That's so funny! Lol
why don't they film this kind of movie anymore?
Because step parents are assholes who stole children of other people and support broken marriages. The marriage should be only one time in life. Thank god that this bullshit film will never appear again. So many films supporting step parents but never one good film supporting how a family is unbreakable and how step parents only appear to destroy it,
God damnit you are hilarious!
Because the '90s passed.
Wow, what a bitter person!
MafiaGuy2017 actually I think you will find the parent trap is a movie about a evil to be stepmom. It seems that you might like it
If there’s one scene in this whole movie that just tugs at my heart strings it’s THIS ONE! Lol 😆 you can just feel how devoted Jackie is to her children!
It always warms my heart because this is the moment she realizes she needs to stop being so over protective of her kids and let them live the best life she can give them ❤️
And starts to let Isabelle in as well and teach her
This part always makes me cry😢
Haleyey
Me too
My mother just passed away two days ago. In hospice. We had only 15 minutes with her before she passed surrounded by her kids, siblings, parents and husband. She had pulmonary fibrosis. . Doctor told her she only had 2-3 years…. But she lived upto 10 extra years.
But before she gotten sick, she would play her Motown music early in the morning on weekends, while she cleaned. She would put this song in particular, and would dance with my sisters and I in the kitchen. We were little kids. She’d Grab us, pull us, spin around like rag dolls because she was silly. We would sing loudly with her. She also loved this movie.
It’s going to be really hard for me to watch this movie again… but May she rest peacefully. And to continue to dance in heaven. ✝️🥺🦋🌻

This film just brings me tears for hours!!! The WAY she loves her kids is indescribable. And they are both so adorable and sweet and precious. Ben reminds me so much of my nephew - his energy, haircut and charisma.
We will never forget you Tammi and Marvin even more with the soundtrack of "Stepmom", "The Poker House", "Remember the Titans", "Chicken Little", "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit" and "Guardians of the Galaxy"
This gives me hope. I watched this as a child. Im 31 now. Going thru alot with custody. A great movie!
Watched this movie the other day and called my mom immediately and told her how much I loved her and do everyday since.
Best scene of this movie.... In fact, that is one of my favorite movie scene of all time!!
Yas Kween. Same
The little girl played joanah in the hunger games
Jena Malone. In this movie she acts like a little brat named Anna.
Yeah. But I love her in this movie more, before the time of the Games
@@joseleo5001 Well blame the people who decided the roles in this movie. Jena Malone didn't choose her part.
Wtfffff
She's also Lydia in 2005 Pride and Prejudice
My dad used to love this movie. He was watching at it one day and I laid down with him to watch it, I love it. Every time I listen to this song I cry so much. I miss you dad.
Same here.
I can’t watch this without ending up crying!!! So bittersweet
Damn you, Susan Sarandon, you made me cry in that movie 💕😭
No cry
My mom would watch this when I was little, I don’t remember the actual movie but I will remember this scene for the rest of my life!!❤️❤️❤️
I saw this movie yesterday 😍❤😘 I cried like a child, now, almost 20 years later, I am stepmom rsrs
João hip outro Uruçuí Kiko ir uque grato Uruçuca jjkkk
I only just realized that the actor playing the son is the very same that played Klaus Baudelaire in 2004’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events”! Oh how the time has flown!
Jee wizz I wondered where I'd seen his face before, after watching that. Thanks for making me realise
And his sister is young Johanna Mason ("The Hunger Games").
Quando rivedo Susan Sarandon in TV e penso si mantiene bene a circa 70 anni è sempre una bellissima donna
The best song, Thank you Movieclips
God this is the saddest film ever 😭
I danced with my stepson I raised to this at his wedding! It was from our favorite movie to watch together: Remember The Titans! He’s 27 now!
My parents divorced before I was born and I grew up with my dad & stepmom. I distinctly remember her showing me this movie which blossomed into us singing the Michael McDonald version of the song in the car. Such a fantastic movie
I was just a teen when this movie came out….,,the emotions hit differently now that I’m a mom. I cried throughout this movie. ❤️❤️❤️
GUYS I’VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS MOVIE FROM MY CHILDHOOD FOR YEARS, ALWAYS WITH THE WRONG KEYWORDS, and there it is in my recommendations, omg😭😭
Loved this movie! What a great memory for the kids.
I was 8 when this movie come out. I've seen it my parents (both are no more alive today) and since then this song vas been in my head til now. Mum also died of a cancer in 2012...This song makes me think about her. Amazing movie
This was such an incredible movie.
Brings me to tears. I lost my mom to cancer. I miss her and need her. Sometimes idk what to do
Você a verá novamente, algum dia.
Hands down one of my favourite movies
and that's how I know this beautiful song, thanks mom
This scene scene everything
Love love this scene and film! Amazing how much she loved her kids! Only a mother's love! Thank you mom for loving me this much! 👏💖📖
If you've never had a random dancing situation with your mom, I feel bad for you... My mom and I would burst into song all the time. I do the same now with my kids. So emotional in the movie- but such an amazing memory!
As a child I always loved the idea of dancing to this song with my mum and I did. But now as an adult, I recall myself and my mother having the “I’m sorry your sick” conversation only few weeks ago and sadly she lost her battle with such courage and strength she fought. Can’t watch this scene without tears flowing now
I'm so sorry
I cried so hard in theater when seeing this
Love this scene soooo much! Thanks for uploading. It really makes my day FRESH & HAPPY!
This movie is amazing and so sad :****(

Yes.
I dance with my son to this song because of this movie. God love this movie
I watched this move a lot of times during when me and my family lived with my grandma and my aunt. And I always watched it with my grandma. I didn’t remember a few parts of the ending. But this part was my favorite. I few hours ago I finished the movie and now am sad. But I love this song now so-

I love this scene seeing them dance and sing together makes me wanna get up and dance 💃
I just love how she’s able to put the needle in the exact place the song starts when it’s super hard to do so, I mean, I struggle til this day lol
I remember watching this at the movies when this came out as child
This movie along with My Girl were two great movies always gave me the same sort of feeling when I would watch them as a kid. I didn’t understand either of them too much then, but they made me feel something.
This scene is so cute!!!
It’s hard to believe that Quentin Tarantino not only wrote, but directed this film. Speechless.
the way i cry everytime i watch this film
I loved this movie, it made me cry, laugh and everything
What an actress, i love her.
Hermoso momento!!! Lo amo y es inevitable llorar 😢 es muy emotivo !!
