Can’t wait to see the GOAT back on the mound.
Dont want to sound like a jerk but what about how he has gotten bombed in a lot of critical playoff games?
He was just pretending to suck those times
I don’t know if i agree with that. Are you saying it’s a misperception? That inning from hell against the cardinals in 2014 was real, and i have the punched and damaged walls in my parents house to prove it lol.
@@frankducky6130 I'd say you might be mixing the being "the GOAT" with those crucial playoff games. Let's not forget that, at the end of the day it's a team's sport so to throw it all on him might not be fair. On the other hand, and speaking about his playoff games, what about the 2 games in 2020? or the first in 2017 WS? or the one against the Brewers in 2018? Why aren't those in your memory? it might be because, for a lot of people, is a lot easier to remember the bad rather than the good things
But i thought his playoff ERA was in the 4’s? That not up to his lofty standards. I love Kershaw and give him credit for being an all time great, it’s just that the games against the cardinals and the back to back homers against the Nationals live rent free in my noggin, no matter how hard i try to forget them!
P.s. u forgot his great performance against the Mets in game 4 of the 2015 NLDS.
Pride and joy of the team. The most loyal guy in baseball. Let’s win one for kersh
Clayton not only displays exceptional talent and loyalty as a baseball player but also exhibits unparalleled sportsmanship and class. I am a huge fan...!
Kersh is like Kobe in L.A.
Yeah, he might not be what he once was but the joy he/they gave me in the last two decades warrant whatever deal they get out of it, even to the point of being vastly overpaid.
Kershaw is back! Lifetime Dodger or die.
The Goat of the regular season. Eovaldi the Goat of the postseason.

LOVE KERSH!!!!!
Me too
Such a great player, not just talent-wise but character and heart too. I wonder if he will become a baseball analyst after retirement. He would be great.
He's the real deal
Love ya Kersh, welcome back
The Captain
I wouldn't want to see him in any other jersey. Welcome back Kersh!
Forever my favorite Dodger! The reason why I'm such a fan! Thanks Kersh and wish you nothing but the best 👍
Thank you Clayton! So happy to have you back.
The 🐐. Argue with yourself.
Congratulations Clayton on your new contract. We cannot wait to see you in Dodger uniform again.
Wow we are all sooo HAPPY, enjoy....just do what's best for you.
Good to see Kersh at Spring Training. Wouldn't be the same without him.
Legendary pitcher and the hallmark ambassador of what the Dodger culture looks for...an even greater individual off the field...we, as fans, were lucky to have witnessed this incredible human being...
Happy to have Clayton back! 💙
Man, I really loved all the times he talked about Shohei and javelins, great insights!
YEAH!! Kersh is back! all good now
Our goat best luck Clayton 💙
Charming ❤
Thank you Kersh! Cmon Opening Day! 💙⚾️⚾️⚾️💙
All HEART! Great athlete
Come back strong Kersh!
Back where he belongs. Let’s goooo.
💙💙💙
Kershaw your the best 👍 if not for crazy injuries you would be a 300 game winner and considered the best of all time better than anyone ever before or after best wishes .
THINGS ARE "NOW" RIGHT WITH THE WORLD (kersh "is" a dodger...and the greatest of them all)
LOVE HIM AS A PITCHER GREAT STATS! BUT CHOKES WHEN IT COUNTS
Geez, if Dodgers get Sasaki next year, starting pitching line up could be Ohtani, Yamamoto, Kershaw, and Sasaki
Hopefully people remember he pitched the nlds with a bum shoulder. I love Kershaw and I trust that he will scrub that from everyone’s memory. Eating postseason innings instead of peaking mid-season. I like the time table for his return
Considering I wasted $350 on a ticket to game 1 he's gonna have to do something pretty special to scrub it from my memory
@@_JellyDonut_ lol I was at the cardinals game when he imploded for 9 runs in the nlds. That was pain. He will be special this year I’m calling my shot
@@mannylokzzz Freaking Matt Carpenter. I noticed he's back with the Cardinals on a one year deal. He owned Dodgers pitching in his prime
Clayton is a hall-of-famer...The Dodgers are paying homage to him and what he's meant to the franchise...but this is a total waste of money. His market value is about $20 for the half-season he will play. Why can't these players bow out gracefully?
He's 56 strikeouts away from 3000...he owes it to himself to hit that mark...at a $5 million contract, that is nothing compared to the joy it will bring to us Dodger fans...
LA LEGEND
Done
Clayton needs to learn how to throw a good knuckle ball. He could pitch another 10 yrs.
2024 dodgers have the GOAT baseball player, the GOAT pitcher, and...dave roberts
If all starters are healthy, Kersh should be Post season middle innings RP,
Dodgers get Devin Williams, he's open.
That last question was terrible
All this sounds good and happy. Kershaw is a likable guy and a career Dodger. I get it. But let's get back to the business of winning and be real. In a big scheme of things, signing him was not a good move. We'll choke again this year. Maybe fans don't care any more. But if you do, you know we'll fail again.
Do you only watch in October? Kershaw is still pitching better than most pitchers in the league. He was injured to end the season. If we had a proper rotation he wouldn't have been our game 1. He already had moved from that role when we had Walker. Kershaw isn't the reason we fail in october, he's responsible for only his starts. The team always chokes as a team, not just him. Our bats were ass. Mookie went' like 0 for 21. So stfu with your brain dead takes.
If he's starting game 1 of the playoffs again then I agree we're in big trouble but if they put him in the proper role he can contribute. It was clear something was wrong with him last year. Who knows, maybe after surgery he'll be better. We don't need him to be a top line starter
@@_JellyDonut_ I say this whenever someone shows any hope for Kershaw, that it's not a physical thing but a mental thing. He just can't handle the nerves and pressure. A proper move would be to put him in #5 role, which we should doubt he'll accept. But more than that, this team needs to be bigger and larger than Kershaw finally. I am hoping Ohtani can do that. Otherwise, forget it.
His wife must be furious with him for neglecting to play closer to home and spend more time with his family.
Lol this guy has been paying the bills for the past 18 years, she shouldn’t be getting mad at anything
I doubt his wife is furious he's going to make 7 mill. They have a house in LA and the kids go to school in LA. Lets be real his kids probably prefer LA. If I was a 15 year old kid I would much rather be rich in LA than be rich in Arlington.
@@davidh.5139 How do you know?
The guy has nearly $300 million in career earnings, not counting sponsorship money. I doubt his wife is too upset with him
