definitely makes it easier. It can be done with a drill and a jig saw from Walmart, just would take longer.

Great video.. I'm making a speed bag platform myself. Glued up 2 plywood.. any reason u choose to use 3 plywoods??
Good luck. No real reason. I tend to over engineer things and I had it on hand as scrap from another project.
what's the best type of wood? plywood as good as it gets? Would a harder wood like oak give the bag more pop?
That's a good question. Not sure. I just used plywood because I had some left over from something else.
