Mainly I have trouble with how to hold the hair so I don’t accidentally combine one of the 3 separate Pieces together. Can you describe your hand placement and how you are holding the 3 separate parts(strands) in what fingers to keep them separate?

You did an excellent job in showing how to braid. I'm still find it hard. I usually have my stylist give me braids during summer months. Was doing that before I went natural. Me I do 2 strand, regular 3 strand braids. Eventually I'll get it lol

hey after deep conditioning can u do it on damp hair and what products and oil do you use to make it last a week.
Jewell Washington I did it with my hair wet...my hair got tangled occasionally but it was relatively easy. Although for me, it took 2 hours! Lmao.

Tip: do the weak side first, so if it is crooked or something, you can make it symmetrical on your strong side

It took me about 3 days to learn how to regular braid like technique wise & each day I spent 2-3 hours & now I’m trying to braid from my scalp & it’s coming out but wonky like a little messy because I don’t know how to grab hair properly from the sides & that’s the part I’m having trouble with is how to grab more hair to add to the braid ,, please help lol
