It's a process but here's how I did it:
No perms
No chemicals
No glue products or weave
You have to literally let your hair breathe and using argan products, coconut oil, Cantu all work. Comb from root to top everyday keeping you hair moisturized everyday, natural only and over time you'll see results. It worked for me, my friends, my sister.

I used to wear my hair lime this everyday to school. ....until I talked someone in to letting me get a relaxer. This is the easiest, and best way to wear a protective style.
+Shavonne Norman natural is always the best way to go and growing up I had so many people telling me to perm my hair because natural hair was unmanageable especially getting done at salons. This is my favorite protective style!

I love how good natural hair looks when styled like this. It's the only hair type that has a black color where braids actually stand out. I have fine, straight, black hair and it's so hard to really make a crown braid 'pop.' Natural hair is so pretty.

This is my first attempt and it came out okay...I will wear it for the week and redo it. I am determined to learn how to braid my hair. I have perfected twists...I want to try so many different styles, but I shy away because I am not a good braider.

No hate, but your hair might get dry because of that curl creme you use! I used the same kind and I was told that it wasn't good for my hair because all of that fragrance will drastically extract it's moisture.

It takes some practice. Do you try this style on wet hair?
Yeah, My hair tends to dry a lot faster, except from in the middle. it stays really damp. I might try to do the crown braid tho. Couldn't you do flat twist other than braids?
Gotcha and yes you can do flat twists. I'll be making more videos on these twists and braids so stay tuned :)

Maya Nicole I've worn it swimming and it's a great style for that. The only thing I might experience is frizz after being in the pool so I would rinse my hair out, let it air and warp it to control the frizz.
