As an aviation engineer, I think the runway needs a little extension to be able to accommodate wide bodied commercial flights.
The Twi translations really make me happy bc when I visit other countries’ airports they have that as well. It shows pride in language and culture. Can’t wait to fly straight into Kumasi from here

Always in a hurry. The airport needs to be safe to operate and if those in the know says it's not ready then you need to wait. We had a railway development in the UK that took over 20 years in it's development but it was still not ready. Now guess what the government has scrapped it. So Kumasi International's time frame is nothing at all, remember safety and efficiency first. Can't wait it looks beautiful.

Hello Clement, thanks for the Kumasi Int. Airport update. Pls I dont think the number of security check points must be many or more than two to qualify an international Airport. In the city where I leave, there's an Int. Airport but has just one security check point. And I have been using that Airport anytime I do international travels . I think certain things are many depending on the size and how busy the airport becomes, especially if there are close cities which have equally Int. Airports. Thanks

Do an investigation concerning project management, you will see that projects are handed over in phases,you dont need to complete all services before actual services begin,they can decide to activate for local flights also and leave international airlines.
