it took two and a half minutes of sustained shooting for anyone inside the house to think to pull the "lower the bulletproof door and window shields" lever.
Perhaps because they wanted to get everyone outside into the house before going into lockdown
What about the bullets that were going through the brick? Shields entirely lining the inside of the walls?
I assume because the others were outside. I don't know this show, but he didn't run to that lever until everyone was inside.

Borderline!!😆😆😆😆😆
Nicely done bro..
Well, the director previously did asian action cinema :)
This wasn't Hollywood. They stopped doing this in the 80s. This is British.
BRITISH. That's why the shooting scenes are ridiculous
Watch Welcome to the Punch, it's like a Hong Kong Gun-Fu movie but in London, absolutely crazy
4:43-4:46 The way the camera drops down with the merc as he jumps down the hole in the roof has got to be one of the DOPEST camera transitions I've ever seen. I love this show. Gareth Evans is a genius, all of his movies are action masterpieces but he really took it to a new level when he did this show. Good lord.
Hold up, GARETH EVANS made this show?! no wonder the cinematography looks so familier
Yeah man. He really did something crazy with this first season that I knew would be hard to follow in the second. Especially after he stepped back from directing. I still really like the second season but it doesn't come anywhere close to the first. Not super excited about the 3rd if he's not going to be running it like he did the first season. The choreography, the camera work, the sheer chaos of everything but still a coherent and focused action sequence. He's in a class by himself truly.
@@losr98
No wonder season 2 was garbage

An information about this series:
One of its director is Gareth Evans, who is most known for his work directing Merantau (2009) and The Raid series. The shaky cam, camera movement and chaos effect here, as well as the almost frantic movement of characters is trademark of Gareth’s directing ability (you can see the similarities if you look up The Raid’s gunfight sequences).
I knew this scene seemed familiar. Even the hand spinning the actors do while they run, that's what they do in The Raid when they get pushed back in a combat scene (for example) for momentum or something like that. Very recognizable work, and very badass even if not that realistic. Edit: the correct word for "hand spining" is "flailing", I just read it in another comment lol.
