      Avoid comptia. I promise if anything goes wrong they will completely mess you over and have no consequences as they are all in on it. Just google comptia reviews and you will see. Just google that. Don’t waste time or money.

    Avoid comptia at all costs people. As someone that held the cert the customer service and infrastructure is diabolical. You can find loads of complaints of the same thing. If any issue arises with them and their faulty sites they will completely deny any responsibility. The head of customer service Jenifer white is absolutely shocking and this is who you will deal with. Go check reviews and you will see same as I’m saying. Avoid this horrible company. This has nothing to do with the CZcamsr on this video bear in mind. Do not waste money

      @@KevtechITSupport nope, just google comptia reviews and all you will see is pure negativity and also Iv seen few other people name the head of customer service as being extremely poor which was my experience and this is the person who you will have no choice but to deal with. They ignored my issues completely and denied their faults. They are scammers far as I’m concerned. Had I been in the country it’s based ( America ) I would have gone to their head office. The way they run is no offices in any country apart from the US so there is zero ways as the consumer to fight your case. Worst customer experience Iv ever had in over 30 years and I’m going to make sure everyone knows to avoid them. They screwed me and by the reviews plenty other people over. They will not get away with it.

      @@KevtechITSupport no go look at google, just google comptia reviews and you will see eventually over 90 percent poor reviews and Iv even seen the same person I was forced to deal with their name as being an issue. Complete waste of money and horrible company. This is content for you but it doesn’t change the horrific business practices from them.

    I got my A+ cert about a month ago and was recently offered a Service Coordinator (Dispatch) IT helpDesk role. Im in two minds to take it since it's not too technical and more just delegating tickets. Do you think I should take it anyways just to get my foot in the door? I've applied to SO many jobs and either been rejected and or just haven't heard back.

    • @KevtechITSupport
      @KevtechITSupport  Před 3 měsíci

      I don't understand that question. You said you got the a+ about a month ago so do you have it or you don't have it?

      @@KevtechITSupport I have the A+ . I was offered this job as a IT Dispatch. But reading up on the job description, it looks as though it's not a very technical job.

      If the job has some tech responsibility. I would do it to get experience.

      @@KevtechITSupport Okay fair enough. Spoke with the guy today, I basically take all incoming request through phone, email etc.. from clients, turn those into tickets and distribute them to the appropriate level techs in house. I'm allowed to close some myself as well, if time permits. It's a good starting point to get my foot in the door I suppose.
