I loved this. However, Sam is the more OPENLY sensitive of the two. I think that we've actually seen Dean cry way more than Sam. Sam talks way more about his feelings though.

Dean is definitely the heart of the show. Originally he was meant to be more of a sidekick, with Sam being the main focus, but Jensen added so much dimension to the character early on that they starting writing more for Dean. He is, IMO, the leader of team free will. My list...

Charlie deserved so much more than what she got! Why wasn't Kevin on the actual list? Balthazar is a great character but I definitely wouldn't place him in the top ten when there are characters like Kevin who are excluded. This entire list was extremely out of whack. Also, they mislabeled Death and Jody Mills... Absolutely ridiculous.
Bethany Durow agreed i love Charlie , Gabriel , meg, Jody , Benny and of course Cain but I’m kinda tired of Castiel and the Winchesters of dying too much

Kuroo-is-my-weakness ikr! How can anyone hate him. 13 seasons of spn would not have been possible if it wasn't for him. And it wasnt fangirl service as someone said. Fangirls come after the character not before them. Some people dont know what they are talking about.
I don't hate Cass, but I think that he overstayed his welcome. For the past couple of seasons there wasn't much contribution from him, it got boring. And as much as I loved Crowley, I was glad to see him go, because they didn't know what to do with him, the same way they don't really have a purpose for Cass anymore. When Cass died in season 12, I hoped it was for good... but there he came again. Actually, every time he died, I thought (hoped) it was for good.
I think Cass is an important character, and if it's just for the boys to have a friend by their side. Of course he was more important and somewhat cooler in the earlier seasons, but he's honestly my favourite character after Charlie.
Cas has so much purpose in Supernatural. He's got to be there for the Jack storyline, and he's very close to Sam and Dean, helping with their arcs. Dean's reaction to losing Cas (and getting him back) just proves that they're better with Cas, not without. Cas is our lead on The Empty storyline (if they follow that further) and he's crucial for Team Free Will. Sam and Dean can't lose another friend, not now.
I can see why people like him because he has an entertaining personality, but the reason i don't like him is because i don't like what he's doing to the storyline. IMO, the show was perfect in the first 3 seasons because the focus was the amazing brotherly dynamic, but having cas offputs everything. The writers are also milking his character way too much because Misha is friends with one of the producer guys and he has a fanbase, so they don't know what else to do with him. I think that's why there's a lot of people who don't like him.
Still can't believe Crowley had to go 😭 Mark sheppard will always be a part of the Winchester fam for me 😢

You cant really rank Sam, Dean and Cas. They're the 3 leads and it's very difficult to choose between them. They're all so phenomenal. If the list excluded them, I'd have added Jack, Meg, Ellen and Jody.

Six episodes into season thirteen, and I still miss Crowley so damn much. What a great character. I know Mark Sheppard said the character's arc was complete and he wanted to do other things, but it still doesn't make his death any easier.
Also, Kevin Tran only gets an honourable mention? This was the scared high school kid who was thrown headfirst into the supernatural world and still managed to outsmart and escape the King of Hell. Smart, resourceful, and ultimately badass, his death still gets me. So pointless and meaningless, he deserved better.

I'm a total Dean girl, but I admit that Sam and Dean should share #1 because there is no show without both of them! Although, the reason that Dean is #1 is because he is generally more popular among fans, he's the defacto leader of TFW, and he is largely considered to be the heart of the show. Still, like I said, Sam and Dean should share first place.

I've been a fan since the show's Pilot, and I really loved John. He was in the show for a lot longer than 5 seconds, though. Not to mention I always loved Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Loved him in everything I've ever seen him in.

I liked him tho, especially because of jefferey Dean Morgan but I get so annoyed when people make John out to be abusive and say he “beat dean” etc. he didn’t exactly raise him kindly or set him in a path for a good life, but he was just doing what he thought was right and he DOES regret it. He never abused him, and he loved both of his sons. I just hate when people say shit like that
