  • Salina Regional Health Center Food Service Department served almost 200,000 meals last year. Nutrition plays an important part in getting a sick person back to feeling well. Salina Regional has a team of highly skilled dietitians who monitor patient’s intake and work with patients to ensure their dietary needs are accomplished during their hospital stay. The hospital has 14 therapeutic menus that are tailored to fit the nutritional needs of a particular patient depending on food allergies, food tolerances, diabetic diet, low sodium diet, etc.
    Aaron Landrith, RD, LD Food & Nutrition Services Manager explains how the food services staff provides food for patients around the clock, 365 days a year. In addition to providing meals to patients, food services also provide a full-service cafeteria for guests, visitors, and employees.
