  • 3D mammography has the ability to detect breast cancer early when it is most treatable. 3D mammograms allow your radiologist to see your breast tissue details more clearly and may uncover breast cancer that would otherwise be hidden by overlying breast tissue.
In this episode of the PULSE, Rhonda Schmid, RT(R)(M) Radiology Manager explains how 3D mammography works. Memorial Health System Foundation Manager Joneé Crump shares that uninsured women and men in Dickinson County are eligible to receive a free mammogram through the foundation.
The PULSE is sponsored by Salina Regional Health Center and airs every Monday from 11 a.m. to noon on KSN as a part of Good Day Kansas.
