Hi respected sir, Im'ma from (MIT) university freshmen. I've encountered a recent incident that has left me in need some advice . I wanted to share that I recently experienced a concussion two days ago, and unfortunately, it has occurred again in the same right side. I'm wondering, would a sudden sideways motorbike collision with a cycle at a speed of 30 km/hr., causing a forceful movement of my torso to lurch and my head in relative (lateral flexion) in the same area of the first concussion ,can it potentially cause some DAI and possibly axotomy to the previously concussed neurons ? very worried since i am difficulty speaking like finding right words and articulating fluently and even slight difficulty understanding words and its been 1 month no recovery? i initially have no symptoms after the incidence like nausea or dizziness , does it cause any permanent deficits or it is just temporary ?

This whole concept of "Nurses are scientists", really concerns me. I am an ex-nurse, and one thing, besides nurse bullying, which is the real cause of the nursing shortage, that was consistent, was the assertive irresponsibility of nurses. I suffered huge consequences for naively assuming my RN manager and NP "team mate" intended to follow regulation. I've gone to nursing classes where the instructor started out with "This is what you say on the test because that is regulation, and this is what you do in real life...". And we spent the entire course practicing how not to follow regulation and consequently every nurse in the class went out into their various communities and facilities intent on not following regulation and so would be putting their patients at risk. My nursing career was constantly bringing me into contact with nurses who were abusive, aggressively irresponsible, unethical and uneducated. The idea that nurses might be trusted to be accountable, accurate and ethical in an actual scientific study or legal case should be met with extreme caution. Locally, nursing school applicants are only required to have grade 11 Chemistry and grade 12 Biology, and only a 70% in each. They can then be accepted into the RN program, and proceed to the NP program, after which they can insist on being called "Doctor" - still with only a grade 11 Chemistry and grade 12 Biology "Science" education. Meanwhile nursing PR is advertising "Nurses are scientists!". Beware.
