Treasure every moment with your Dad, I lost my Dad last year just before Christmas. The plan was to go fishing when he was recovered from his illness, sadly a week later he passed away.
Nothing beats fishing with your Dad. I can't wait to fish with my son some day (hes a little dude).

If you can get "Old Bay"seasoning through Amazon in the UK that's another old school crab & crayfish boil seasoning,add some red creamer potatoes,fresh ears of corn and your crab oh my delicious...

For prepping garlic butter, cut the garlic in half and scrape out the germ from the middle (especially if itâs green) it stops it going bitter during cooking

@@SMASHFISHING gotta be careful with the crab boil itâs a concentrate and is strong. When I saw how much you poured I was worried. Itâs strong normally I wouldnât have added but about a table spoon especially if itâs completely submerged in the water and crab boil. Zatarans is a big thing in louisiana. Thatâs what we use to boil our crawfish

Thatâs all I use to boil crabs,shrimp and crawfish here in south Louisiana.
Smash, if you liked zatarans you should try some other Cajun/crawfish boil recipes (seafood gumbo, boil with potatoes/corn cobs (maybe with prawns instead of crawfish?), jambalaya, etc.). It would make for cool content and Iâm sure Sam would enjoy too. :)

Next time you use the crab boil put some corn on the cob some small potatoes and some onion in with it and thatâs how they do a seafood boil in the southern US.

Normally you add onion , garlic ,potatoes oranges and mushrooms or other things you like in a crab boil it's all about the favors and the food lol forgot corn on the cob it makes a meal

We do get crayfish here which I'm sure are similar in taste
Please try and cook a lobby the same way but mix cream cheese with garlic and herbs and then bake it you won't regret it
One thing I wish i could do, fish on the coast for stuff like this.
I don't know what it is, but that colour scheme of white and medium light blue really makes the dinghy look spotless and pristine!

I asked you a while ago if star fish are edible. I have since found out that they are. I watched a video of a young Asian woman pick up several from the beach. She steamed some purple stars & they came out orange. She broke them open & scooped out the innards. They looked revolting, but she appeared to be enjoying them.

It's got a zing because it's a "Cajun" crab seasoning. Tony Chacheres (also a seasoning) is even better, but I don't know if they have a crab or crayfish boil

@@SMASHFISHING Iâve an auntie & 2 cousins in jersey had great bass fishing from sea wall with up to 8-9lb on squid & black bream from the pier & mullet in the harbour at low tide on bread flake with smashed bread đ mixed in with kit e Kat cat food it worked a treat the fishing was excellent in gorey village with the back drop of mount or orgueil castle ive been over twice I didnât want to go back home đđ
Looks pretty good, but did your dad get any? I usually eat about 4 or 5 "bugs" that size, and I'm happy if I get a few crabs thrown in. But I've never met a lobster I didn't like!
