- Gaming at night is awesome! I just added the new G1 RGB lights from Govee to my gaming setup. These react to what's on your screen without needing an HDMI box or a camera. It doesn't work on PS5, but will work on PC. Pretty cool! AD (lights provided by Govee)

@@spookyo0423 Lytmi Fantasy for example has something like this! But this is expensive, like 180-200+ buck's, I'll also search soon for something. I want some lol. Imagine a wild game with many effects on it haha.
@MortyMore They have already, Govee ones but they have the mini camera you must place above TV to work unlike the one in the video without the camera.
There are TV’s with this built in. I have a Philips 4k tv with their ‘Ambilight’ feature, which is this but built in and arguably better as no delay. It’s looks amazing.

Hey how are u watching movies or do you mean Netflix app or Prime? Every time I try and watch one of those with the strip in the dream view to reflect the screen, the screen just goes blank and doesn’t work. Is this happening to u? Do u know a fix?

Yes you can set it to a normal theme/colour and leave it static via the app.

except the computer needs to be on for the lights to match the ps5 games, so cause is working with the computer, hence why you have your laptop there is not gonna work if you want to play ps5 without the pc on

This looks cool, but what if there's no computer involved? Can it hook in to an Xbox/PS5 and have the same effect?
For PC you'd want the G1 (this one), but for PS5/Xbox you'd want to go for the camera or HDMI box. But the G1 is the cheapest for 'static' RGB which still looks cool.

@@SpawnPoiint there is no camera anymore, i dont see anyone else offering the camera which imo look ugly but is the only thing that works, the solution is buying a monitor with rgb included in the first place

Yes but it won't sync to the screen. Better using the AI box or T2 kit.

It won't connect to the PS5, but you can use it for 'normal' lights

The software doesn't work unfortunately. You can still use it with the RGB, just not sync the image.

Yes it is. This doesn't use an HDMI box. This uses software to read the screen.
Philips Hue Play is way better than this with much smoother light transitions, I’m sorry but this is just distracting
