Hi, I'm Brazilian and every year the Teofilo Otoni International Precious Stone Fair takes place in July. Considered one of the biggest fairs in the world, it's worth visiting. Brazil has different types of gems and at this fair we can see the most different and valuable ones. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you. Glad to know that there is still an annual gem show in Teofilo Otoni. I spoke with two Brazilian vendors in Tucson this year, and they both confirmed that no, Teofilo Otoni is no where near the size of the Tucson shows, but it is a good show to attend. I hope to be able to get to Teofilo Otoni to see the show again sometime soon.

Great! Hope you enjoy cutting them. I plan on offering another batch of some kind of gemstones as basically 'give away' prices, probably later in this year so stay tuned. I will probably have to limit purchases to one bag per cutter or something like that so I don't sell out the first day. 🙂

Its a shame post is so much! I went to buy some findings from the USA and was shocked at the price so understand why you can't post to Australia. I'd have bought a few bags. Maybe next time. I've only just recently bought a faceting machine and spending all my evenings cutting.
Yes, the cost of shipping outside of the USA is much more than I am selling a bag of this Amethyst for. I wish I could have made this offer to any cutter, even outside the USA!
I started cutting gems this year in april and just talked with a friend about picking up some good amethyst. I would like to pick some up please.

Those dops also look like Facetron dops. Which I can sometimes use on my old American Faceter Machine.
They probably are. I don't know if they were for the Facetron or GemMaster...but they work in the Ultra Tec also.

I understand that may not have been clear to many who may not be familiar with facebook. What I meant was that if you want to discuss the Amethyst, go into Facebook, find me as a user in FB under Mike Sackos, and send me a message. That is what a Private Message means. I can assure you I have responded to all the PMs I received...and many of the cutters who received the Amethyst are very very happy with the Amethyst.
