Can't wait to see some more winny woo riding 🤩thank you for all your effort you put into your video's your channel has been a healing space for me after loosing my horse last December so I really appreciate all the effort you put in and the way you care about us❤️
Bless you, I’m so sorry to read that! Sending love and hugs ❤
I'm so sorry to hear that!I
I lost my heart horse last Feb and meg has really helped as well!
@@Clarke_Girls I'm so sorry for your loss as well although there will always be other horses loosing the one who owns your heart and soul will always be the most difficult to forget❤️
Dora is changing colour, getting lighter! Piggy and Laura are such iconic producers of horses, so very interesting Meg.👏🏻
Love watching you with your ponies! It’s so hard living in the US and watching UK riders, all the time I’m like yes I need that and can’t get it in the US
Hello and Thank you Meg from Australia ! It's great to see how great all ponies have progressed !
I have a special feeling for Dora since watching you lunge her years ago when she was young and green to a well adjusted evenly balanced charming pony ! You give a lot of confidence to many of us. Thank you ! Marguerite McLeod
This is a great video. I love using the exercises found in magazines. It's like a mini lesson from a high level professional for the cost of peanuts!
I agree with all who've commented here: this was a brilliant idea, Meg. It was so clear that you and the ponies were working really, really hard and improving. You must have been wiped mentally as well as physically doing three different set-ups and riding them with different levels of ponies. It is hard to think up new things to try on your own at home and even if you can do that, you don't really know whether you're working on areas you need to with each horse. So hats off to H&R Mag to get experts to curate the exercises and add tips and expansions for each of them. I'm sure all of you and your ponies will be galloping up the levels of both height and difficulty when the season starts again next spring. I hope you don't mind me saying, but you were so polished and professional in this video. It still had your fun-loving delivery, but it was so well-done and so polished. You have been climbing the levels yourself too, Ms Meg. Well done you :)
Defiantly going to be doing some of these with Suzie!! I always struggle so much with ideas and our oddly shaped arena. Thanks Meggy!!
I just have no imagination with a normally size arena, was so nice to have a bit of structure! Glad you enjoyed.
It's such a detail, but I really do appreciate you saying things like "This is something I need to work on" because way too often people will say "This is something my horse needs to work on" and it's never the horse alone :)
I did that first excersize with my horse and damn did it give us a good schooling lesson. Normally shes very hard to turn but after doing this excersize shes softened up a lot thank you so much you've gave me the best ever ride on my horse!
I just love Dee! So much opinion and character in that pretty, pretty pony. Lol.
The neighboring horses chestnut and black were watching you and Dora with great interest
whoop whoop!!! YOU should use the drone for the straightness and you can see from above how straight or wobbly you really are!!!!! well ridden
3:30: oh, the dustcloud.... :D
I adored this video. I ride a western discipline, and am constantly sharing the joys of poles.
Hi Meg,
That was a fantastic video, for once in my long life I understood what you were talking about. Those two equestrians are very talented young wome, no wonder that they have gone so far in the competition world. I congratulate them both and you too Meg. You did all of the exercises very very well and looked very professional . Jane 👍😎🐎🐴🧑🏻🦰
absolutely love seeing winnie being ridden, can’t wait to see what you guys get up to in the future 😍 love your videos meg!!
Thank you! I’m very excited about her, even if she’s a bit stuffy at the moment 😂
Is there any way you could do a collaboration with Elisa Wallace? She has a fun channel and seems like someone you would have fun riding with! WHINNEY matured SO much in just that one session! I think she actually liked it. 👍
Dora looks like she has something going is with her right front, left hind diagonal. She steps quickly under with her right hind to take off pressure from the right front. It is very subtle at this point. Just something to watch and consider doing a video of her getting chiropractic. I'm interested in seeing what the chiro says. Often they talk about how injuries can move around the body as one joint gets strained and other parts of the body compensate. I'm a huge fan of using linments proactively when doing lots of work as well. The work schedule I had my horses on was two days in a row, one day off, three days working, two days off. And if getting less forward, shorten work session duration and increase walk break times focusing on steering with legs.
Well done Meg and all three ponies. You all worked so hard and they did look great fun today. Not in the rain though! Poor you. Loved your outfit 😍
Dora is looking so confident! Such a good little pony 😍
So excited to watch. Winnie is adorable❤
Awh yayyy
Love this years December videos! Also good prep for nect season! Go meg i believe in ya! Also it's gonna be the best season with u and tina both kicking it off at badders!❤️
THIS WAS GREAT!! Fab to see the ponies of different levels doing different exercises
You’ve inspired me to cancel my hack and do a daylight jumping session this week! (I share so only ride twice a week)
This is really great! I really hope you continue to show some of these exercises in the future.
This is brilliant, need to dig all my copies out and stop just looking at the lovely horses 🤣🤣
What a lucky girl you are to have Piggy helping you with your exercises. I thought that after you got going things went very nicely. I know that as you progress through the program you will get even better and things will become easier for you to do, I really am looking forward to seeing that happen. It was a wonderful video all around and all the assistance that you received from, those great magazines and the three girls was terrific. Jane 👍😎🐎🐴🧑🏻🦰
these are awesome, subscribed to horse&rider from Aus
This was great Meg. A shame that the stars could not join in but you did very well explaining the exercises. Would definitely love to see you do this with the magazines on a monthly basis. Do have to say that I am missing the crazy Chrissy Meg and Hobbit antics. 😂
Would you consider putting Winny in a full cheek bit to help her with straightness and guide her? Good video, ponies looking well x
Really enjoyed this one Meg plus didn't realize horse magazines had features on exercises for in hand work. Will have a look.
You guys look amazing! Dora bean is whiting out so much!!
Also I saw a chestnut with a big white blaze in the field? Who's the horse? 😂
Ahh Lydia Hannon! I have lessons with her and she’s amazing! She still uses these cross bar/straight bar thingys 😂. Highly recommend her for any type of horse!! ❤ love the vid Meggy Moo!!!

Great video Meg. Great exercises. Those will really get you thinking and build your confidence.
Whinnie is looking amazing you’ve done amazing with her I can’t wait for the next vlogmas vlog!!! ❤
Watch to the end and see Emerald Motion Media brilliantly demonstrating how tricky it can be to see a stride. 😅
These are great Meg, definitely do more videos like these please 😊
I never really realized how many people are filming at one time but seeing the zoom out view of the arena, it looks like at least 3?
How the fuck does he slip on surface 😂😂😂😂😂 I need a slow motion replay please I’m howling!!!
Love the video concept, and the voice over
Good video megan
I love this vid!!!!
Some interesting exercises, I’m definitely going to try them
You seem to be sitting very far forward on the ponies or are they still growing and high behind.
They're learning so well you must be proud of them
when did dora get so much lighter lol
Love vlogmas, Meg you are a doppelgänger of Josephine Langford🤣😳
Hahaha off I go to google 😂
@@elphick.event.ponies 😂 what do you think?
Wow love this video so so helpful!! Something for everyone, was wondering where you got your stirrups from
Winnie is so cute. ❤
She’s a sweetie isn’t she
Riders: When you do your cool down at walk, try going to the buckle and just follow the horse with seat and leg. Mirror back with your aids, what your horse gives you. If the horse starts to trot, just gather reins and ask for walk and go back to mirroring what they do. This is their chance to do what they want at walk and when you mirror with just seat and leg, later they are more tuned into the whole body rather than bit pressure as much.
what a great video!
Good job Meg xx
Love it!
How big is your arena?
My family is trying to figure out a good size arena for my riding.
Your arena looks like a good size.
These videos are awesome. Giving me more ideas on exercises to do with my youngster. Quick question, do you find your horses all go well in the Boucher bit? Why do you use those? 😊 I've got mine in a full cheek but just worried he will hurt himself with the full cheek pieces.
Not the editors drowning out her voice with music
How do you get your youngsters used to being in environments with a lot of new horses? (Such as comps) I am planning on using fun rides perhaps for this but just wondered if you would recommend any other experiences?
We tend to make the first outings very low-key at first. For example box they to the forest with one other horse for a hack a few times, and then start with quiet clinics or school hire. Best of luck
@@elphick.event.ponies That’s a good shout, thank you
When will you highlight training with Jammy?
What date was the one with pole work? I have a green horse to, i would like to try them
Is it me or does Dora do flying changes going into the oxer, I slowed it down to .25% cos I thought I was seeing things but it was after you made it bigger that I noticed the first 2 times on the left rein she'd put in 2 flying changes just before the jump
Yes she was changing.
Hi Meg are these exercises useful for transitions and all level horses
So smashing, simple is best eh?? 👌
Do you know how long the code is valid for please? x
will winny turn grey?
i’m honestly procrastinating with my winter training schedule, feeling superrrrr unmotivated. any tips?
Get yourself some Horse&rRider magazines, honestly life changing
