Carole is used to being the best junior rider at Pine Hollow, but then Andrea Barry shows up - she’s younger and better - and she has an amazing horse of her own. The competition between Carole and Andrea comes to a head at the prestigious Briarwood Horse Show and Carole must realize that winning isn’t everything. Stevie is determined to prove to everyone that she can be responsible. Lisa becomes jealous when her younger sister, Melanie, stops tagging along after her and starts hanging out with Veronica. Veronica turns Melanie into a little version of herself. Veronica tries to sabotage Andrea’s chances in the competition, but Carole finds out and informs Andrea even though she knows if Andrea rides she will win.
Based on the series of popular books for young readers, The Saddle Club follows the lives of three aspiring equestrians developing their riding skills at Pine Hollow Stables. Each of the girls has assorted personal baggage: Tomboy Stevie's impulsive nature gets her into constant trouble, Carole rides to overcome a family tragedy, and Lisa is an overachiever with a social-climbing mother. Despite their problems (and the schemes of a spoiled rich rival, Veronica), the girls' love of horses and strong friendship with one another is always enough to help them overcome any obstacle.

tbh I can kinda relate to Carol bc there's another girl at the stables I go to and she's only been riding there for 4 mounths and she's already showing and I.v been there for 2 and a half years and my teacher hasn.t even mention showing and the only reason she's already showing is bc her mom Road there before 😤 and she's never riden before 😭😤😭😭😭😤😤

Lol they act like a lead change is so hard , you just set your horses balance and they shift therfore shifting their lead I do it on my barrel horses even the one that's only 10 months into training
