Basically: local Devil will set the world on fire with his burning passion for gardening. đ đœ
Your comment made me choke đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Pretty much đ
I went in not expecting much because Iâm not a fan of Dylan Wang and the female lead isnât my cup of tea but WOW Dylan Wang was born to play this role. Itâs such a fun watch and can I just add that the 2nd male lead is so so SO handsome.
Yes please add that
Same. I didn't have very good impressions about both the main leads but WHD was absolutely marvellous in his acting role and the FL is bearable in this drama.
@@chickwit2575 She became bearable to me because I keep reminding myself that her character is supposed to be mediocre, average looking, innocent and a tad annoying. I wouldâve had a problem if she was to portray an epic beauty that everyone fell in love with but thankfully the ML and SML fell for her because of her good heart and loyalty lol.
You feel what I feel , DANCING IN FRONT OF THE EYE , WHILE WEARING THE RING
It's so innocently recklessđ
I watched this with no expectations and without knowing anything about it and I absolutely loved it!! Also I appreciated the fact that itâs paced well without any draggy episodes. Everything that happens gets to the point and moves the plot. And their chemistry is so good
Istg this wonderful series deserves 50 episodes max đ
I LOVED this drama! Dylan Wang and Esther have amazing chemistry, very funny, amazing!
This drama is addictive, it was such a surprise
This show can generally be seen as worth watching. There are problems, but they can be overlooked. Can't wait to see what you think of it.
Yes, it's short too, so the problems are more tolerable :D
Our sushine and sunshine protector â€ïž
Costumes, sets, props, and CGI are wonderful. You can smell money everywhere đ
So true!
I watched it already and I love it đ„°đ„°. I will rewatch it when I have time. Waiting for more videos about it đđ.
I thoroughly enjoyed this drama so much!
I watched because it has Dylan Wang in it - been a fan with Meteor Garden - but didnât have high hopes as his other two period pieces were âmehâ and âoh god, what am I watchingâ respectively, and I had dropped them after a few episodes. However, I really enjoyed this. Costuming was fantastic and CGI was pretty good too. Script wasnât too crazy, though the ending seemed a bit rushed. Had never heard of Esther Yu and was not a fan of her earlier episodes with all the pouts and toddler talk, but after her role matured and she began conversing like an adult, I enjoyed her performance as well. đ
OK, I wasn't too interested in this drama before but after this vid, I think I'm gonna have to watch it.
Give it a try. You will sooner be addicted
This xianxia is the first xianxia to ever get me to binge watch within a few days, that says a lot. Most other xianxia annoy me because they *always* have at least one, if not all, of these:
1. Misunderstandings that last episodes upon episodes
2. Unnecessary filler episodes with characters that do nothing for the plot
3. A ML that is devoted to spitting blood for his FL
4. A FL who is quick to /betray/hurt the ML because of the SFL/Villain/Herself
If future xianxia projects follow this drama in terms of pacing, quality etc then that'd be an incredible xianxia refresh! It genuinely needed it... Big time.
Yes, the good pacing and the small number of eps definitely help a lot. The characters in here are also given more logical reasons to act as they do :D
Tho the ending is kinda rushed, i recommend everyone watches it.
wow wow... I was waiting for this review... đ€đ€đ€
As always I love your videos. Keep making more
Thank you! More to come XD
I actually enjoyed this movie just for the guy's antics. lol. It was more comedy than anything so you can easily forgive some stupidity. But when I saw the anime which I think is more faithful to the novel, I wished they stayed closer to it. Altho I do understand why they deviated (it would have been so much harder to replicate souls sharing bodies in live action) but the anime was just more hilarious and the orchid fairy was so much more funny and spunky. But the male lead really carried this show... I am not familiar with the actor but dang does he look gorgeous when required and funny when necessary.
To those want to see the anime it's here: czcams.com/video/3U_hNCVOcDE/video.html
Agreed, the guys in here just have a lot of chemistry, no matter their relationship XD
Can you recommend a few of your favorite Asian fantasy dramas. I just discovered your channel, keep up the good work đđŸ
Great video đ The female lead was childish but I'm keep watching this drama.
Maybe you could consider making a video about the historical drama "Lost track of time". The female lead makes a wrong choice at the beginning of the drama . She married a very dangerous man whom she thought he loved her. She stayed with him around 10 years and she also had a son. The consequences of this bad marriage were heavy. She had her entire family killed , her son murdered and later on she got assassinated as well.
Her soul time travels back in the day before the marriage again. She now has the chance to fix everything. She tries to stop the arranged marriage that previously destroyed her life and caused the death of her loved ones. Although she's mentally broken , she also slowly falls in love again (with a good man this time). But she stays away from him in order to keep him safe.
It's an angsty drama with character development & romance and palace politics. The hunger for power in the palace causes chaos
Well the female lead is kinda a malnuturished and bullied teen, if not preteen. đ Acting like a kid bc no one was near her to teach her to mature. I dont think she had any close realonships since her Master was gone. Exept with even younger flower spirits. And the Medicine seller who has problems letting people get close to her.
That helped me watch the Start of the Drama. I think she grows up very nicely.
@@Baerli92 Yeah for "Devil and the fairy" , I understand why she acts so immature but it's still something I dislike to see in my dramas. Other people like these types of female leads. I hate it. I watch the drama just to spend some time and also due to the beautiful CGI.
Interesting synopsis! Thanks for the rec, I'll be noting this one down.
I have been watching this drama and I love it?? I detest weak FLs and I don't like the damsel in distress trope, but I dig this one especially because she's a damsel that needs to be saved begrudgingly by the devil and it is hilarious. I am having an amazing time haha
That part is particularly funny XD
Off-topic but did something happen to the flame's daughter review? I can't find it in your channel.
I took it down to fix the audio on some parts, hopefully it'll be done soon :D
Ok. Thanks for the answer.
Wait until they body swap for the second time. Hilarity ahead đ€Ł
Looking forward to it!
I have one question for you quippe, do you even know how much of a fan I am?
Glad people enjoyed this drama...but it made me realise Xianxia isn't for me...
I wasn't expecting so much from Dylan Wang in this drama but he did pretty well. But the FL was a bit disappointing here.
FIRST YAAAAY
I'm still not going to watch this until I get the "go" đ„signal from this channel.
