    I have a few of these and they are great! I’d say the most frustrating part for me was trying to get the cells in there without breaking the little springs in the battery compartment. I ended up breaking one of the springs but a made a little spacer out of foil and it was right a rain. Great product and I highly recommend!

      Completely agree! That is the hardest part. Once they are set up they are the business!

    hi, i copied the following from a message board some years ago, might save people money ''Also for anyone that is curious, you can power a lot more figure/lights on the Soap Reactor than they say you can. All you need is a splitter cable and plug it into one of the 4.5V, 0.3A slots. An led typically uses around 0.03A so each one of the 0.3A plugs on the soap reactor can power roughly 8-10 leds. Repeat this 3 more times for the other 3 0.3A slots. I did this with my soap reactor and currently powering my entire collection (around 48 leds) from one soap reactor.

      Probably a stupid question but what is a soap reactor?

      Interesting. For this to work I’d have to purchase a soap reactor though. Might work out better in the long run. I’ll look into it. 👍🏼

      you could send him this info & see if his product is the same, i used an old phone charger with 2 wires into 2 wago block splitters & made wooden fake batteries it powered 2 x 1/4 iron man but i got fed up with the wires & am now holding out for wireless power its already doable.

    Oh my goodness this is fantastic 😮 I love lighting up the hot toys but like you mentioned the batteries die within minutes if left on. This looks great ok the wires could be a bit of an eye sore but you’ve covered them as best you can. Did you find it restricted articulation at all? It’s 2023 there MUST be a wireless alternative out there apart from Morgan’s work shop I loved the idea but VERY expensive.

    • @OneSixthFigureFocus
      @OneSixthFigureFocus  Před 11 měsíci +2

      100% agree. Wireless charging would be the way forward but price is a serious obstacle. Articulation shouldn’t be limited unless you tidy and cable tie the wires behind the figure like I did (to hide as much of the wires as possible)

    can you remember how much one for the dx13 was? and do you know if they do any wear damage over time from being on constantly? probably a silly question but just throwing out there lol

    • @OneSixthFigureFocus
      @OneSixthFigureFocus  Před 11 měsíci +1

      DX13 eye kit was $40 (Australian dollars) so that’s about $26 American. Shipping will be another $40 (Australian). He combines shipping though so you’re better off getting a few kits at once. I don’t know the answer to your second question but my friend has has many of them for years with no issues.

    • @OneSixthFigureFocus
      @OneSixthFigureFocus  Před 8 měsíci +2

      The fusion reactors come pre-made like that already. The wires for each of the light up parts join to one main wire and to a USB.
