Wood Turning an Epoxy Resin "Plywood" Turning || A YOUTUBE FIRST!

An experimental turning of epoxy resin plywood I made. Similar to spectraply or frog blanks but with some other very different characteristics. This is my version of spectraply / frog blanks that I could make at home. So with this epoxy resin experiment I decided to make a small weed pot. Although I was not happy with the way this table top resin turned I already have plans to try again but using casting resin instead. I think a resin bowl made from this would look pretty awesome.

Woodturning and resin turning are incredibly fun hobbies to get into. As you can see by this video you can definitely get very creative. If it is softer than metal and dry you can most likely cast it in resin and turn it on a wood lathe.
