Beauty egg! Egg-cellent work as always Ben! 😎👍🏼👊🏼
What about using like yarn and layering that? Maybe getting interesting squiggles? Or layering different nail polishes? I’ll have to think of a few more for suggestions.

A thick knit scarf that is then rolled up might be grand for this idea. It would spiral out from the center while having a knit pattern along the sides.

    Ben.
When Peter Brown made a bracelet from an old pair of jeans, he wetted the denim in the resin one piece at a time. I think you did the better way as Peter was fed up at the end. But the thing he said was how soft the end product was.
Might be worth giving denim a go? 😀👍

Capture a growing plant in resin. A seedling or a small bush or something small enough and then once the resin has set then leave the plant and see if it will grow and be strong enough to crack the resin or will it die. . . .
If it does die then we fund a way to clean out all the plant material out of all the voids inside the resin to see what it looks like when all the plant material has been removed and maybe fill the void with a green or golden resin with maybe some mini fairy lights in it. Hopefully light up the space where the plant used to be . Yes! Glow in the dark dust mixed in the resin used to fill the void . . . . .
    I would like to see that in an egg. . . . . .

I’m a fashion designer so I understand how tedious cutting fabric can get. Using scissors that have not been used for any other purpose other than cutting fabric are best. Or using a manual rotary cutter. Both are cheaply sold at your local Walmart or whatever grocery and/or craft store you might have near you. Tho I don’t think it’s worth buying if you are only going to use them once.

If I were doing this much fabric cutting, I would not have concerned myself with cutting circles, and instead used a rotary cutting wheel on a crafter's cutting board and simply done squares using many linear cuts. No scissors, no sore fingers... Just rolling the cutter in straight lines, stacking the fabric squares, pouring the resin, and then turn it down to a cylinder once it's on the lathe. I just felt the start of this video in my hands... Oof... Work smarter, not harder. Heck, a rotary fabric cutter can usually cut through 3-4 layers of fabric in a single pass! Very useful tool if you do any frequent work with fabric.
