You CAN Do Pushups, Pullups, Squats, etc (Shorts, Reels, & TikTok Compilation PART 1)

- I thought it might be helpful to have some of these videos in a compilation. You can see the individual videos as as well as longer versions on my channel.
The whole idea is that with any given exercise, you can find a variation you can do, work it until you're strong enough for a harder one, and repeat.
Some of these videos are from a while ago. Some are back when I filmed with the front camera on my phone. I teach differently now and would probably phrase some things different. I may remake these at some point.

Hey everyone! Let me know what you think of this. I got the idea because someone told me people liked watching Shorts compilation videos.
There are a bunch of videos in this series, but these are the "standard" exercises.
Regarding being sick, today's the best I've felt in a week! I've been trying to produce at least some content in the meantime. Let me know what you'd like to see when I get back! I don't like inactivity so I'm SO EXCITED to get back into it.
What are some exercises that work the same muscles as pull up. I haven't got a bar and i cant afford one rn,
I don’t see the link for the adjustable pull up circles ⭕️ , would you please post a link so I can get them .
Thank you
Get well soon bro.
It's nice
Feel better soon 🙏
Hey friend! Is there a way you could make a beginner compilation video? I'm having a hard time skipping around on these videos and the website ( scrolling through each one to find the beginning starting point for each exercise). Could you maybe make a compilation video just like this one, but for each step in the process. For example, instead of this video having every variation of each exercise from beginner to advanced, have every exercise but beginner back to back, then a new video compilation for each step afterwards ( like 1 video including wall pull-up ( the first step for the first exercise), then the next exercise first step and so on... does that make sense? Like a video compilation of each workout in sequence by body part worked, but the videos are separated by difficulty level. That way I can do a full body workout without having to jump around all your videos to find the next step of a new exercise.

174lbs and counting. I have been pairing my physio for my hip with upper body weights. I can now hold a full plank for a minute and 10 full pushups. I'm getting better and not limping as bad without my cane. I hope to be cane free by mid year next year. :D
Thanks for being such an inspiration in my journey!
Of course! That's awesome and I hope you continue making great progress! Cheering for you!
Wow, Ferris, that is great! You rock!
Dude thank you!! I'm training to get into shape for my firefighter class and your videos really help
maybe dont be a firefighter if "being in shape" is a task for you
@@krns1695 Imagine going onto the most positive channel on youtube, and spreading negativity. No need for it.
@@VicB72 exactly.. such a shame
@@VicB72 he kinda has a point tho
@@kurdaitcha5806 Do you think firefighters are born being that fit? They all train, he said he is training to become one. I don't understand where your logic is coming from.
This makes me so hopeful.
My goal isn’t to complete anything too heavy, just move a little more and feel a littler better.
Many strength training girls are very confident in themselves. This doesn't mean that people who are confident in themselves start strength training. Whatever the reason, it can be said that most of them start strength training out of a desire to change (to change). It may be because they have achieved such a desire that they appear to be full of confidence.
I am a senior in high school and ever since I started to try to become healthier Ive done strength training exercises. I still wouldn't call myself "fit" but Ive become stronger. Being physically strong really does make me feel more confident about my body's abilities. In gym, I can't do as much running, but it doesn't bother me because I am strong. And at that noticeably stronger than my girl peers
I write like you but it never occurred to me how obnoxious it is (it is.)
@@dezireewoods7107 i also started caring about my body and it works, so keep it up!
It's not just physical change but a mental one that changes once you begin your fitness journey. Good luck y'all
This is the first time I’ve seen any new content since you took your break for your wedding. Congratulations are in order my friend!
This is a very good compilation of the essentials!
Whaaaaaaat I've been making new content for some time! I think not posting for a while made it so my content didn't get recommended as often. I'll be increasing content volume a bit.
I always want to start doing all these exercises in a full body training program, because you make it so easily manageable with the progressions, but then I feel like I forget what all the individual different videos have said to do: So this is really great!
Your are generous with your words. Thank you.
wow I'm early
I will be working on push ups and squats
As a complete beginner with a lot of health problems that make even walking too much sometimes... this is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
Hi! I've recently been trying to get into calisthenics and I'm so happy I found your videos. It feels like everyone tells you something else which is really confusing, but maybe that's just because I don't fully understand the sport yet. Thank you for making the routine, it makes things SO much easier!!!
Of course! I made it as a starting place and based it heavily off my routine at the time. I really do mean to update it soon.
Thanks! It is good to see you again
This is wholesome! Thank you!
Wow a summary! You're so great, Hampton! Thanks
I love how clear, positive and encouraging you are. Thanks for breaking things down into achievable stages!
I've been watching your videos separately to help me in my routine and this is just perfect, thank you!
I love your channel,everytime I watch these videos I’m happy,you just have such a friendly energy,have a beautiful day
This video is helpful because it sums up most of the shorts you done and compiled it in one video. Saving this video on my playlist. With greatest days to you Hampton.
Honestly bro, you are a hero in the fitness community !
You're such an encouraging dude. I coach and encourage young scholars as my job/vocation but I'm still struggling to think about my health the way you demonstrate. Hoping to get the courage to try soon.
This video is like the infinity stones of calisthenics.
Bro! You're awesome! Appreciate it man
This is very helpful thank you
I love all your videos, they are inspiring and motivating as they help us see possible what we think is impossible by just taking baby steps and appreciate the progress. Thank you 🤗 much love to all!
This had a good rhythm and vibe to it, I liked!
I’m currently studying to be a PT and I love how you talk about joint development. Just because your muscles are big, doesn’t mean that your joints are ready to bear that stress. God bless you Hampton!
I've decided to start using the routine you've posted. I'm working from home now so I have absolutely no excuse not to at least give it a try.
Starting with pull-ups tomorrow. Fantastic work with the website by the way, very clear info and very thorougly explained. Love that you've included so many alternatives as well.
Hi. I kept coming back to your videos for easy exercise since I got PID since 2 years ago. I really got stronger and can do elevated push up now. 😊
Omg i love this channel. I have been struggling with squats because my knees hurt whenever i do it. I started doing squats with a support. Thanks for these tutorials man. Really helps.
I love Hampton! I always feel inspired n enthusiastic about getting myself in shape n feel no shame if I can't do enough of " the normal" male exercises 🙂 great videos!
His point about ‘girl’ push-ups really made me stop and think about why we ever called them ‘girl’ push-ups
I love your vids. I watch without the audio most of the time (just how I watch YT in general) and you come across as really chilled out. Who knows, maybe soon I'll be able to do that pull up.
I absolutely love your videos man keep up the good work 👍
Hey, Hampton!
I just wanted to say I am really motivated to pick-up on my health and fitness once again. I've done absolutely no physical activity over the past 3 years and now I really struggle with the basics, even some of these beginner variations.
I'm currently 32, measuring 6'5" and weighing about 116kg. Because I'm so tall I have weak joints all over (especially my knees) and I am excited to keep at work and eventually build up to the final variations of each exercise and I don't care how long it takes, so long that I keep at it.
Thank you so much for your positive attitude and for inspiring people to better themselves. God bless you!
I like this. Everything is wrapped up in one so you can follow easily instead of spending time looking the next workout while your exercising. Short term memory is not always my friend so this is perfect. May you feel 100% soon.
Great videos!!
Young man you rock!
You’re awesome dude!
These videos helped me get back into exercise
love how you don’t care how many people see your videos, you only care about how your videos help the people who do watch them. Have a beautiful day.
Hello Hampton love love your vids !!!! 🥰
Love and support from Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada
THANK YOU! This is so great!
This is probably the single most useful compilation video i have seen for home exercises. Yes I had been worried that I am not able to do half of the exercises from HIIT routines like Chloe Ting because of joint pains. Your videos gave me confidence and a direction to safely adjust my body for these activities. Thank you for making this amazing content Hampton!
Downloaded this video coz there are a lot of tips on how to do work out at home. Specially during this time in the pandemic. Thank you good sir!
this is a very good resume of a lot of great videos in your channel.
Awesome 😎 thank you 🙏
Ive seen all of these but they are so pleasant so i'll watch them again
Hey dude! Last month I’ve watched your video of how to do bridge. And by following your instructions and routine with some help from calisthenics movement videos I can now do a full bridge. Its just great seeing a video about bridge and able to perform it.
You are amazing thank you
You're awesome man! Keep it up!
I love these breakdowns! I am on my way to doing a pull up!
Thanks for your videos Hampton
I start from doing normal push-ups and then decline push-ups and now I can even do 30x diamond push-ups
only passing to say thank you for the vídeo.. what a marvelous approach!
"no pain no gain!" till page 2.. the muscle should "hurt" not the joints!
way to go! Kudos from Brasil!
work from bottom to top, same routine thats helped me time and time again 😁
This is awesome! just needs some time stamps for the exercises and its a youtube legend!
Started cali 3 weeks ago and im already seeing massive improvements
He's so understanding of different fitness levels!!!😊 I'm not strong but he makes me want to work more on myself
Convict conditioning book. Everything is taken from there
You are such a beautiful man inside and out! I’m so glad I found your videos.
Sir you are best 🤩
Brilliant 👏.
I like it when he says: Don't be ashamed if you can't. Fitness is a journey.
LEGEND!
Hampton is the definition of "friendly&wholesome person"
I really wish I had someone like you as a gym teacher in school, it might've made me more eager to work out and do better in PE
Definitely gonna start all of these as soon as possible, less to actually gain weight and muscle, more to just not dissapoint him because of how kind he's been throughout the video
5 months ago I couldn't do 1 push up. Now I can do 8 chins ups in a row or 4 pull ups in a row 🥳🥳🥳
You are amazing 👏 ❤ 💖
Good idea my friend.
This is the kind of fitness influencers we want more in this world.
Ooooh gotta try the bridge!
I'm trying to get back into exercising--I used to be a competitive swimmer when I was younger, but people ended up making me feel self conscious about not losing weight and I eventually quit. I'm trying to get back into fitness just so I can have an easier time just around the house and walking, and these exercises are super helpful. Thank you
Currently trying to heal from a knee injury and it’s taken far longer than anyone expected. It’s very validating to hear someone say sometimes our muscles progress faster than our joints. I feel like such a loser sometimes when I can’t do squats because of the pain in my joint, hearing someone say it’s NOT because I’m weak feels nice.
I like to watch those videos, because then I realized that it's been a long way for me to reach the point at which I can do all those exercises with no problem. But there is still a lot of work ahead.
long time no see.
just kidding
Godspeed!
#THANKYOU sir 👍
My knees have been bothering me when I squat and I'll definitely try the squats
Ty
Hello, Hampton. I don't know why but your easier variations seem to be harder for me than the proceeding one. For instance, supine squats are so hard! It feels like knee tucks which I have the least progress. And the wall press lunges hurts a lot haha. Perhaps because my heels are not so flexible? Simply positioning myself is already trouble.
He is right YOU CAN do calisthenics. All it takes is to do some strength exercises. At first I couldn't even do calisthenics, but as soon as I started doing strengthening exercises I was slowly able to do calisthenics. Calisthenics is easy it just takes a lot of strength to do it.
You know what would be cool? A video where you show auf full beginner/intermediate/expert workout based on these different stages
Nice triceps bro.
This is that one guy you can trust with your life
5:01 made me actually laugh out loud :D
Ima try doing pull ups again.. it was kinda hard to find a place at home to learn at my lvl
7 minutes of wholesomeness
Gnarly
My main problem with pull-ups is a lack of equipment, none of the pull up bars I see online seem like they could confidently hold my weight 220lbs
happy wedding❤👍👍 I want to do all of these, but over 60 and severe arthritis in ALL of my joints with 3 layer spondy. I'm trying not to get more injured, while staying as active as possible... which is nothing much.
Thanks I want to join the cadets this will help me to get in little in shape
Hampton, my friend, any tips on doing diamond push ups (for one arm push ups ) without wrist pain? Also are Archer push ups more effective for One Arm Push Ups than Diamonds? 😇🙏🏼 I can do archers and diamonds strength-wise but diamonds hurt my wrists. Also I can do one PERFECT FORM but painful one arm push up but any forn hurts my anterior delt.
Archers definitely help more for them. I've noticed this when I did a push-up routine for one arm push-ups. And if one arms hurt your joints, my suggestion is to do assisted ones until it feels better cause based on what I've learned from Hampton, there's no shame in allowing your body to recover by going lighter. Best of luck to you my friend
if you're experiencing joint paint, the muscle isn't strong enough OR you have the incorrect form. I found theres a lot less pressure on my wrists with pushup exercises if I imagine trying to grab the ground like when holding a pole/handle. It engages your forearms which are obviously connected to your wrist, the more weight you can reliably put entirely onto the muscle the better your joints will function.
If the position hurts your wrists, try not putting your fingers in the "diamond" shape. Placing your finger fingers together has a similar effect!
@@HybridCalisthenics I tried this, still hurts. 😅
No longer ashamed
That's good!
I think you forgot about the CZcams link you mentioned at 4:46... (I know that this is a compilation :D)
I never had problems with doing squats when first starting out, I just do it
How much rest between sets?
Great video - thank you!
Amazing how I can do most of the hardest version of these bc I had to in school.
Therapist: WalkingHamptonLunge doesn't exist, he can't hurt you

Hey Hampton, I have been following your routine and it is going pretty well, but I am stuck at full bridges. I just cannot move on to one legged bridges. Can you provide something in between?
I hear the cracks when I squat, but they don't hurt
Then you're probably just stiff as a stick
@@user-hp7kk4gq6t nah I work out 6 times a week, my bones are just loud lol
Hi Hampton, I don't see the link to the rings in the pull up video
My friend.
You and Noel are the reason why I want to start something better for my body. But, I have a question. About jump rope.
All I have at my house is just that. And, I want to know if maybe you can tell me about how to jump rope, the effect for the body changing, or anything else you want to tell about jump rope.
I really want to know, and I'll be glad if you want to tell me about jump rope.
Thank you, my friend.
