Such a great list, Jen! I might need to pick up the Hamish foundation. Not that it matters at all, but cassis is pronnounced ka-SEES. Cassis is a liquor made from black currant and it's a dark purple color. Black currant is one of my favorite flavors ever. And I have the blush, thanks to you! :) Merry Christmas!

I have been slowly trying out K Beauty products, I love the Heimish BB Cream, it has become my most used foundation type product when I wear makeup. I have also been using the Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm, that really gets the makeup off my face, without it feeling like I need to wash my face again, or my skin feeling dry. I have been trying out the Too Faced fluff and hold brow gel, but haven't been lining the way my brows turn out, I'm going to try your application and see if I like that better.
I must say you have the most delightful opening on your December videos, although I enjoy them all year long. Thanks for all you do. Happy holidays to you & your loved ones.
I fell in love with RMS Beauty this year. I already raved to you about their gel to powder blushes. I believe you’d really enjoy their Supernatural Radiance Serum 30 SPF Sunscreen. It’s a glowy primer that’s not too glowy with sunscreen protection. It comes in a few shades. I am a fellow dry-skin lady in my early-mid 40s with fair skin. My skin is sensitive. Jen, Honestly, I don't see any problem with anyone using products they love. La Colors may not get as much hype compared to other drugstore brands or even high end products, but I love them and I have quite a bit of products from them and they are used on a regular basis. As long as they are available, I'll keep buying them too. ColourPop is one of my favorites as well.
Side note: There is a high end brand that I love and will splurge on and its Ofra Cosmetics. I love their highlighters. Other than Wet n' Wild, there is nothing like Ofra Cosmetic highlighters that even compares. Now, If ND and Huda Beauty would decrease their prices on their products, I'd be snatching their products up more often than I do because I love them too. But thankfully, there are "dupe" brands that exist that I get to enjoy.💘
100% agree on Hero forceshield sunscreen. I have not used any primer since I started using it and it keeps my skin hydrated all day long. You give the best recommendations! Loved this video, Jen! Very helpful to know tried and true favorites. I just tried a revlon super lustrous lipstick when I needed to buy my daughter a lipstick for her dance recital. The Super Lustrous lipsticks are great! They're the only fragrance free and unflavored drugstore lipsticks I've been able to find, and there's a big color selection.
Jen, you should also try the liquid liner from Prados Beauty. Indigenous owned! It's felt tip, but the lasting power is amazing. (I also love the KVD, and the Mac ultra 24 hr - that one is bulletproof!).

I am really interested in K beauty and I’m going to make an effort in 2024 to try more products. I ordered a cleansing oil off of Amazon and it blows away any I’ve tried to date. I also use the Cosrx snail mucin essence, eye cream and moisturizer and love those as well. I’m loving the new formulas they use and I’m hoping North America picks up on that
I love every compact powder I've tried (currently using the I'm meme powder jen showed in the video), and cushion foundation/bb cream (currently using missha). I don't find the eyeshadow/blush/highlighters are pigmented enough for my tastes though. All my skincare is k/j beauty though😁
I love your videos and your suggestions. I recently tried the PatMcGrath bronzer that you like and I love it. It has been so hard to find a decent bronzer for my pale skin. Thanks for your lovely holiday videos. Have a Merry Christmas! 🎄

I can't use those brow hair pens- too difficult for me to make a natural looking hair. Much prefer brow powder. I finally got the Mac Unfiltered Nudes eyeshadow palette. Omg, Jen you must get this! I tried the shimmers and they are the first shimmer shadow that doesn't accentuate my crepey eyelid texture. It's a MUST have for mature lids. (I also have CP Stone Cold Fox and like it, but not a real great fan of the quality.). I'll try the Kokie eye pencil, Revlon Skin Awaken. Tarte Par-tay is a must have. I hit pan on it. It IS a perfect shade. I love it, and it stays all day on me, too. My fave along with Benefit Dandelion. For a cream blush for you to try, get the Boom! stick blush in shade Rose. You'll love it and it is a great lazy girl blush. Try L'oreal bullet lipstick in shade Fairest Nude. It's a holy grail cool tone shade!

Hi, Jen! It's so cool to see what you wear in everyday life. You made me a major ColourPop convert, and their prices are so reasonable! I'm going to see if I can convert my sister, so I got her some ColourPop items for Christmas. She is a middle school teacher, so she has to keep her makep neutral, out of necessity. The colours I wear are more on the warm side, because of my complexion. I am very fond of green eyeshadows, as they really highlight my hazel eyes. I wear a lot of earth tones, as they flatter my complexion. Do you have a favourite liquid lipstick you use? I have two- Stila, and Huda Beauty. The Stila I like because it's matte without drying m6 lips, and when I want something creamier, I use the Huda. Also, is there a particular hilighter you like to wear? I have a hilighter by Floss, and it is so velvety soft it's unreal! I also am very fond of Ofra. Do you use Ofra at all? Also, have you ever tried the NudeStick cream blushes? Thanks for this video. I don't know what people's obsession with NYX is. Every product from NYX I bought I've regretted. I never use it. My favourite line is Elizabeth Arden. You never have to reapply anything. I do like the Nars blush. I wasn't too crazy about the Sisley concealer, like so many people, but I've warmed up to it. Overall, since COVID I use so much less make up. Thanks again for the video. Much appreciated. I especially liked when you said, "Instead of going to buy a new mascara, I decided to give the one I ALREADY HAD ANOTHER GO AND I LOVED IT. I did the same thing with the Sisley concealer. I was so disappointed when I bought it and tried it and it gave me a rash. IDK what happened after a few months b/c I have no rash now when I use it and it really is a great concealer.

I also use the NYX Lift & Snatch eyebrow pen and love it. I’ve heard of some of your recommendations but haven’t tried them. However, they do look interesting. Hi Jen, thanks for the video! Merry Christmas! I find it quite interesting to see what you wear when you're not testing products. Also, I think I'll try the Painterly eye shadow as a primer. The only eye primer I've tried is the Urban Decay Potion, which actually made my eye shadow look worse. I think it's designed for oily skin because it didn't work well at all on my very dry skin. Usually I just use some foundation or tinted moisturizer or concealer as an eye primer, but these don't really color correct the purple discoloration on my lids.
I am 54 and have very dry skin and lids. I’ve used the MAC paint pot as a primer for years. I have tried many others, but keep going back to this one. Stock up when you find it on sale. Sometimes it’s 50% off during Ulta’s 21 days of beauty.
I'm not a fan of the UD primer potion...I didn't feel like it did much for me. I have used foundation or concealer in the past on my lids but I find that they can crease and then cause my shadow to crease. I like that the Paint Pot stays in place nicely all day.
Love this. And totally get it when you splurge every once in a while. Loved this. Heimish bb cream better come back asap. Gonna need a new tube soon. Gonna be sad if they mess up their shade range. I love Fat Oil also...I have alot creases to and the thicker the better. Mac lip glass, Tarte juicy lips are my go to.

I can't use those brow hair pens- too difficult for me to make a natural looking hair. Much prefer brow powder. I finally got the Mac Unfiltered Nudes eyeshadow palette. Omg, Jen you must get this! I tried the shimmers and they are the first shimmer shadow that doesn't accentuate my crepey eyelid texture. It's a MUST have for mature lids. (I also have CP Stone Cold Fox and like it, but not a real great fan of the quality.). I'll try the Kokie eye pencil, Revlon Skin Awaken. Tarte Par-tay is a must have. I hit pan on it. It IS a perfect shade. I love it, and it stays all day on me, too. My fave along with Benefit Dandelion. For a cream blush for you to try, get the Boom! stick blush in shade Rose. You'll love it and it is a great lazy girl blush. Try L'oreal bullet lipstick in shade Fairest Nude. It's a holy grail cool tone shade!

For anyone interested in a good dupe for the Gucci bronzer in shade 1 is from MOB Beauty in shade M36- which is a rosy toned bronzer, not grayish like a contour

Hi, Jen! It's so cool to see what you wear in everyday life. You made me a major ColourPop convert, and their prices are so reasonable! I'm going to see if I can convert my sister, so I got her some ColourPop items for Christmas. She is a middle school teacher, so she has to keep her makep neutral, out of necessity. The colours I wear are more on the warm side, because of my complexion. I am very fond of green eyeshadows, as they really highlight my hazel eyes. I wear a lot of earth tones, as they flatter my complexion.
Do you have a favourite liquid lipstick you use? I have two- Stila, and Huda Beauty. The Stila I like because it's matte without drying m6 lips, and when I want something creamier, I use the Huda. Also, is there a particular hilighter you like to wear? I have a hilighter by Floss, and it is so velvety soft it's unreal! I also am very fond of Ofra. Do you use Ofra at all? Also, have you ever tried the NudeStick cream blushes? They are soft without being sticky and have a brush at the other end that blends really well. I find myself reaching for that one quite a bit.

Thanks for this video. I don't know what people's obsession with NYX is. Every product from NYX I bought I've regretted. I never use it. My favourite line is Elizabeth Arden. You never have to reapply anything. I do like the Nars blush. I wasn't too crazy about the Sisley concealer, like so many people, but I've warmed up to it. Overall, since COVID I use so much less make up. Thanks again for the video. Much appreciated. I especially liked when you said, "Instead of going to buy a new mascara, I decided to give the one I ALREADY HAD ANOTHER GO AND I LOVED IT. I did the same thing with the Sisley concealer. I was so disappointed when I bought it and tried it and it gave me a rash. IDK what happened after a few months b/c I have no rash now when I use it and it really is a great concealer.

I also use the NYX Lift & Snatch eyebrow pen and love it. I’ve heard of some of your recommendations but haven’t tried them. However, they do look interesting. Hi Jen, thanks for the video! Merry Christmas! I find it quite interesting to see what you wear when you're not testing products.
Also, I think I'll try the Painterly eye shadow as a primer. The only eye primer I've tried is the Urban Decay Potion, which actually made my eye shadow look worse. I think it's designed for oily skin because it didn't work well at all on my very dry skin. Usually I just use some foundation or tinted moisturizer or concealer as an eye primer, but these don't really color correct the purple discoloration on my lids.
I am 54 and have very dry skin and lids. I’ve used the MAC paint pot as a primer for years. I have tried many others, but keep going back to this one. Stock up when you find it on sale. Sometimes it’s 50% off during Ulta’s 21 days of beauty.
I'm not a fan of the UD primer potion...I didn't feel like it did much for me. I have used foundation or concealer in the past on my lids but I find that they can crease and then cause my shadow to crease. I like that the Paint Pot stays in place nicely all day.
