  • Setting the correct Bidding Strategy in Google Ads is the MOST IMPORTANT decision to make in your Google Ads campaign.
    This is because if you set your Target ROAS (or Target CPA) to high it will limit your traffic & sales and if you set it too low it will reduce your profit margins.

    Thank you Aaron, I have been watching your videos for 1 year, the information you have given has been very helpful to me. I used to look at the performance of my campaigns for a few days and analyze them and make changes all the time. I probably lost a few hundred thousand dollars because of my ignorance. I wish you had experience in mobile application campaigns and shared it with us.

    Hi Aaron, I’m following all your videos and I want to thank you for all the info that you are sharing with us.
    I’ don’t know if you can give me a response but I have two questions that I can't solve.
    1) When use Pmax instead of standard shopping (I have some clients where the shopping works better Thant the Max and viceversa) all the times I don’t know which strategy choose on new client.
    2) If I have only 7/8 purchase for month is better to include also add to cart in the objective or is always better keep only purchase?

    I have an account for an e-commerce company that has had a successful Shopping Campaign running for roughly 12 months. I am now looking to add a Search campaign for the main brand keywords. Would I initially use a ‘Maximise Clicks’ bidding strategy or ‘Maximise Conversions’?. I know it is mentioned in this video to switch over after 30 conversions, I have many more than 30 conversions in the relatable shopping campaign but not in the new search campaign.

    Aaron, in the video you talk about 30 conversions in 30 days? But if my niche doesn't have that many conversions. For example B2B. Here 2-3 conversions in 30 days is a good result. When can I activate Target CPA or Target ROAS?

    I'm running CZcams Video Ads using Google Ads, seems like target ROAS not available in setting "sales' goal. Do u have any better suggestion?
    My NEW Google ads account only have 1 conversion data. Lately I've been using Max Conversion to run in just 2 hours but it burnt double my avg daily budget (from $200 to $400). I just stopped and switch to Target CPA. So am I on the right track for this TCPA bidding strategy?
    Google account status: NEW (1.5 Mth)
    Nature business: Cosmetic product
    Objective: Sales

      Target roas is not available for but you can start off another CZcams campaign without selecting a goal. There you can use in feed videos ads or skippable or inskippable depending on your goal and in those you can bid based on target cpm or max cpv. Hope it helps!

      I’ve tried Maximize Clicks when I don’t have 30 conversions a month, it’s not a bad way to go when you don’t have that data.

      That is what I've been seeing is that maximize clicks opens the gates wide open and then you can limit your budget so you don't end up spending beyond your budget.

    05:21 should we get these 30 conversions by following : 1.the maximise clicks bidding strategy, then switch to maximise conversions after getting the 30 conversions. 2. Or by following the maximise conversions (or conv value) bidding strategy without a target cpa or roas ?

      @@nicolasfrny i’ve went with maximise clicks, then after reaching just 10 conversions switched to maximise conversions (with target roas) and it worked very well for me :)

      Try to check the loading speed for mobile. If it's bad, try to improve it. Plus look at your bounce rate.

      Please use CTA(Click to action) property weather you want a call or you need a form submission if you need call then you must use click to call option. By doing so it will improve you QOS(quality score)Hope that helps.

      No, the bidding strategies he talked about are automated bidding strategies.

      Go for max clicks with a cpc value. Also, don’t put cpc value too low so that you are not missing out on being a part of bidding happening at a significant cost. Leave it for a few days before getting those number of conversions. Then you might want to Switch over to max conversions or conversion value depending upon your needs.

    I've a question, when we cross 30 conversions, and we want to change our bidding strategy, should we make changes to the same campaign? or we should keep that first campaign running as it is and start a new campaign and apply a new strategy?

      Existing campaign as its the one that has the data. New one will not have any data or conversions to start bidding on max conversions or value.
