All takes time but looks great to me. Yeah the dog legs can be hard to get right with the door. I split mine on along the edge and pulled it out to be flush with the door. 👍👍

My hz prem has the original doors and factory welds n bronzing and the dog leg to the door is terrible. They all were. Some hq statesman’s (Sydney built) had way better panel fitment)
Yes they certainly weren’t fantastic from factory.
Author way is to cut a long line inside the door jam and under the door and push it in and weld it back up , That what am thinking of doing to mine as am using the stainless strips that goes around the wheel arch as i don't want to alter it being longer on a Statesman .. Just thinking not sure yet,, But i can't see any other way to get it right .... Author think is to place the door rubbers on when doing the door repairs and boot lid ..
That does work but I always try and use that as last defence in that situation.

Definitely not aftermarket on this one - I have one of those on another car here.
