Joe has been a contestant on a Taskmaster series , some very funny tasks -judged by Greg
Everyone fucking loves your inbetweeners reactions. I’d love to see them all again
When a chef gets things ready before actually cooking it's called the 'mise en place', French for 'putting in place' or the 'set up'.
You should listen to the Joe Thomas episode of the Off Menu podcast where he talks about cooking a lamb buried in the ground for 24hours
I'm very interested in the Inbetweeners re-watch.
No doubt that some people will complain that you're doing a re-watch while there's still new shows you have yet to start. But do it anyway, if you want to, of course. Looking forward to them.
I’d love to see them introducing other Americans to the show 😂
Yes to both of these
He’s 40, he ain’t that young lol
Ha true, but he didn't say when this happened, could have been when he was a late teen! Which would have been believable, knowing how bloody clueless I was at that age. (They should have asked how old he was when this took place!)
I never really heard of people making macaroni cheese until I moved up to scottyland. Loads of people make it there. (I'm visiting England)
Macaroni cheese is one of those no brainers: Pot, put water in, add salt, macaroni, cheese (whatsoever you happen to have), mix, heat up. Mix a couple more times while it's cooking. Done. 10 minutes. Heh, maybe 20 if you're cooking for two families. 30 absolute maximum.
Five and a half hours and he didn't even overcook it to a burn, washed the only pot he had and started it over again - multiple times - is hilarious!
Getting your ingredients measured and in little dishes ready to cook is called 'Mis En Place' - doing your prep. (Say in a french accent - I may have misspelt it tho) its the PROPER way to do things so when you start to cook you can focus just on that, i went to the best (at the time) catering college in the UK and was taught by some top chefs many years ago, but i still do a Mis en Place before doing a big or special dish so that i can work quickly and cleanly. I think it roughly translates as Put in Place. (I think) ...
Great news about you re watching The Inbetweeners. I look forward to enjoying it, and you and Queen Boomer's amusement , all over again, sooner or later. 😊👍👍👍
Joe Thomas was in series 8 of Taskmaster, you should give that show a go. It's also hosted by Greg Davies!
Hope we have more WILTY, Room 101 and The IT Crowd outtakes to look forward to 👋👌
Brilliant!
Cheers King!
Mr King Boomer sir - I have been watching you since your reaction to Jeremy Clarkson's " The Victoria Cross " , and recently rewatched it again ! Have you reacted to his Follow-up video " The Greatest Raid of All " ?
I strongly recommend reacting to it !!
PS - I love traditional AND a Goulda cheese version .
As always great post brother.
Been watching you for 2 years now. Cant get enough from Wales. Any chance of reacting to Blackadder for your next binge after Pheonix Nights! Blackadder 2/3 or goes forth. All classics, you and the Queen would love it!
He's already done the first episode on Patreon. If I'm right, It's from BBC, so he'll never be able to upload them on YT.
I loved the mac and cheese you get in the ponda Rosa restaurants and the golden coral out in florida.
Wish I knew exactly how to make it or find places in the UK with the exact same receipe.
We have tinned mac and cheese and packaged stuff which is awful. But out in florida I was going to for more.
6:20 yeah, but it also doesn't take you 2 hours to finish a sentence 😂
If they ever have a Taskmaster special where they bring back past contestants then would love for Lee, Joe and Jo in an episode.
He's amazing on taskmaster
Fried leftovers of Macaroni & Cheese, next day for lunch on toast. Ooooo yes! With a bit of Tommy K
You and Queen Boomer could also watch Derry Girls (as long as you get it with subtitles 😆)
I'm not into Mac and cheese either, its so good to know there's someone else for feels the same 😊
Hey mate I was just wondering if you and queen boomer are still gonna react to friday night dinner
After all these years of the Inbetweeners finishing, everytime I see reactions to it I hook in. Can't wait!
If you deleted the Inbetweeners files on the same PC or hard-drive that you still have, there's a chance that they can still be recovered with some software or by hiring an expert at doing that.
He could just download them from YT, but maybe he just wants to watch them again
@@lifesbutastumble Unfortunately that won't work... The YT video's are not the full uncut reactions he'd normally have on Patreon!... They're cut and edited to a high degree, hence why he's thinking of reacting again on Patreon.
@@davidholgate123 He did indeed mention that actually. I was only half listening lol
For WILTY, check out Bob Mortimer.
Hi KB, Joe studied history at University, There's a Timeline documentary hosted by Dan Snow from the RAF Museum Hendon, with a panel of Joe and two professional historians, "What If Nazi Germany Had Won The Battle Of Britain".
You should check out the series "Man in the High Castle". It's that exact plot set in an alternate universe and is pretty good
I thought this was true straight away, my partner somehow takes hours and hours to cook a very simple quick dish like pasta and I hear him clattering around the kitchen but he won't let me in to help! I don't know how he does it. The results are never good and I hate it when he insists on cooking. I often end up ordering takeaway and he gets upset because he's been 'slaving away for hours' cooking dinner (but even the dog's not interested) 😂
I still have a crush on Joe Thomas though 😙
You don't like mac&cheese? You're King Philistine!
Macaroni and cheese sounds like two ingredients in a dish; not a dish on its own. Might be heresy, but not part of my food culture xD
Caribbean Mac n cheese is the goat 🧀 🐐 🇲🇸
Don't know if you've done Bob Mortimer stories on WILTY, you might like them.
Congrats, this is your first correct guess. You said you'd seen bits of the other one before.
Please PLEASE watch Taskmaster. Joe Thomas is in one of the series of that and each season is hilarious!
Hey Boomer, tried looking for your 1917 movie reaction and couldn’t find it, did you take it down?
It got taken down yes.
All this chat about picking the correct brand of mac and cheese has me triggered. It's pasta and cheese. Figure it out!!
I'm not married, but if a woman ever puts mac and cheese in front of me that came out of a box, I'm walking out.
joe thomas isn't that young. just looks it
Day 1 of asking King Boomer to watch Max and Paddy's road to nowhere
So it's Macaroni and Cheese, isn't it? As per King Boomer etc. I never had it. I liked cheese but it never liked me.
The show always called it Macaroni Cheese, even when Rob Brydon summed up at at the end.
You can't have a cheese consisting of Macaroni.
Let battle commence ....
I dont know how you convinced yourself that he was a teenager cause he never said that 😂
Be gone bots🤖👋
Teenage boys, yes.
One of our local grocery stores has a slightly "higher end" quality macaroni cheese in their frozen section to cook at home! It's comfort food on a plate!
Why don't you re-watch them INBETWEEN the other shows...HA HA🙂.... thanks, I'll be here all week!!!
Why have you never like macaroni cheese.
Hopefully you'll do an Inbetweeners reaction with the queen on YT as well.
If you watch the Taskmaster with Joe you realise he can be a bit of a simpleton, sort of Alien like sometimes.
Mac and cheese is horrid.
Lovely on a jacket potato
Mac & Cheese is definitely one of those foods that changes massively depending on the brand. The cheap, tinned stuff is always horrid. Oven-cooked with crispy cheese on top is pretty good. American-style is a radioactive abomination.
You're horrid
Rather eat Broccoli
@@dave_h_8742 omg broccoli mac and cheese though 😍
