I just thought it was Vanessa's form of "poetic irony". To have the creature that disguised itself as a rabbit, and made her dress as one, be guarded and sealed by a rabbit.

With the MXES being connected to an old school monitor, as Matpat pointed out, it’s obvious that he’s been there for A WHILE. There’s no doubt he’s the good guy, because he’s trying to stop Cassie from deactivating the security nodes.
Given that MXES is a rabbit, seems to suggest that it’s connected in some way to William, and given that the monitor and the MXES box is old, seems to tell us that William installed him way before he was springlocked.
My thing is, why did William not destroy Mimic (if he did make him), if he knew Mimic was dangerous? My guess, is that he wanted to preserve him in case he found a way to make him better, but never had the chance to get back with him???
I heard an interesting theory. Was a vid from a guy called @Siresquaks that posed the idea that it was Cassie's Father who made the M.X.E.S. Which is an interesting thought and would help it line up with the candy cadet story by having the father take the place of the mother in the story...

I like the idea that MXES is shadow bonnie, but it feels like a serious leap that Gregory and Vanessa were able to secretly built a massive server down in the basement like that, let alone program it like that. Greg's hacker abilities are well attested but it really feels like a leap just a little too far.
Still, good that everyone is thinking broadly. More analysis is exactly what we need.
I just imagined Vanessa and Gregory shoved whatever lingering spirit of Charlie is clearly in the pizzaplex (leaving all those Nightmarione references) into the remains of the glitchtrap virus, because MXES is simultaneously a passive force for protective good, and more than willing to kill a child to achieve its function, like both the Puppet and Glitchtrap

To theory 1: I don’t think that glitchtrap would’ve been reverse engineered, because he literally IS mimic. For princess quest to have been reprogrammed to now trap mimic instead of Vanessa, I think it’d require the enemies in princess quest to not actually be glitchtrap himself, but rather just a security system created by glitchtrap. The enemies would just be a program, nothing else to it. That program isn’t glitchtrap, it’s just a program created by him. So when Vanessa reverse engineers it, now the enemies trap glitchtrap INSTEAD of Vanessa, and the enemies would attack Cassie as she’s trying to free him. It kind of would play into the duality aspect of Ruin that many people think exists.
To theory 2: I like the idea that RWQFSFASXC is back, the shadows are cool characters that I think are underutilized and underrated. My only questions for this theory would be the how and why. Why exactly does he trap mimic, how exactly he works as MXES, and more specifically how in the world did Vanessa and Gregory get RWQ to just be a security system for them lmao.

I imagined it would be more like The MXES was created and Shadow Bonnie just kinda "Merged" with it as its best shot to keep messing with Glitchtrap, though ill admit its not the cleanest answer. I really hope the MXES becomes a recurring character in the next few Games!
My theory is MXES is glamrock bonnie but idk for sure. Mean Monty was controlled by glitchtrap and destroyed glamrock bonnie. Maybe Burntrap was at the cameras controlling Monty all this time then the fire started and was destroyed by the blob. After he was destroyed maybe he controlled glamrock bonnie and turned him into MXES. But that’s just my theory because idk if glitchtrap was still alive or he made a glitch version of glamrock bonnie so he wouldn’t be stuck dead. Another theroy is that maybe glamrock freddy is a head was destroyed because the other ending we see freddy with only a head. Also maybe MXES is controlling animatronics except for 1 which is Roxy. Because glamrock chica, and Monty are chasing Cassidy except for Roxy because she was going for Gregory. The reason is quite simple her eyes. Idk why Gregory betrayed Cassidy but I’ll make another comment about that theory. (You can tell me theory’s and correct me this is just my option)
Also in security breach when freddy and Gregory were in the charging station next to the daycare freddy didn’t see vanny chasing walking past thembut Gregory did. Maybe the mask is for invisibility and won’t get killed but getting too close results in death. When vanny had the mask maybe MXES wasn’t gonna kill her since is was his plan but when Cassidy came in and out the mask on MXES was attacking because she was not suppose to see the glitchy world and maybe Cassidy was ruining MXES plan.
And another theory is maybe the mimic and MXES are enemy’s. Think about it how did MXES got send back to his generator thing or whatever you call it. Mimic has very good iq for tricking people. The candy robot or whatever his name is ( sorry I don’t play fnaf 6) was telling a story about a little boy and his mom hiding in the basement from the mimic and his mom sang a lullaby. Then the mimic sang the same lullaby and then the little boy cam down and died. So the mimic maybe saw MXES power and used a cure to not ruin mimics plan. Now I’m out of theroys you can share theroys with me I would like it.

I think, its not only following its new duty of keeping the mimic down in the basement but i think its also a sort of version of glitch trap trying to create another vanny. I think somehow someway the original mimic somehow accidentally (because he clearly has no intentions of ever doing this) cloned himself. Not a physical cloning mind you. You have the basement mimic then a virtual mimic trying to take people over and turn them into slaves. Or maybe fazbear entertainment (being fazbear entertainment) cut corners and used a edited version of the original glitch trap code as a base and turned it into a security protocol. So its mimicking the original behavior it retains and mimicking its newest behavior it was given.
I think its gotten to the point you’re one of the only theorists I like watching 😂 so many others over complicate things and then won’t budge when Ruin contradicts them.

I don't personally think that burntrap is the mimic still. If that was the case then you would see more of the blob in the DLC since the blob took burntrap away. I feel like the mimic is its own thing and that burntrap was part of a non canon ending to the game.

@@firewings9954The DLC seems to suggest the Vanny ending was actually the canon one. Taking a look at Freddy's state and position in the game. How the pizzaplex is closed up like it is. The Burntrap ending are drawings forming a comic in game that you can collect.
And even the final dialogue given by Gregory himself.
Early in the game I was thinking he's what became of bonnie, but later discoveries make that much less likely

That could be springbonnie's comeback because he got shut down and William got to his suit but forgot the springlock and some how it might be the burn down that awoken him but glitch trap controlled springtrap in the suit so William did not have the virus but spring bonnie did and it got stuck on the vanni mask and helps never said his name in the beginning cause springbonnie was the first animtronic and his brother freadber and the first puppet with green eyes and puppet and freadbear were gone so I guess he blamed it on humans for shouting down his friends and at the end he will kill all the animtronics and he will try to rule the world and there's a famade spring bonnie called shadow trap so the devil must of created it using the idea hope that helps😊

Isnt the Mimic1 program what we call glitchtrap? So glitchtrap turned into a antivirus to keep the mimic / glitchtrap within the walls seem a little bit weird to me. I dont think Mxes program is glitchtrap. Its entirely new program in my opinion. And I also believe that burntrap is still relevant. Despite the fact that Burntrap ending being not canon, we can come across a small cameo of Blob in Ruin so Blob was not made up by Gregory for his comics. Meaning that also Burntrap is also real and Mimic being even deeper down from where Burntrap was and Mimic being sealed up for a long time meaning that it could have not been in Fnaf 6 furnace rooms. So Mimic and Burntrap is not the same so I do believe that Glitchtrap virus is still there somewhere with Burntrap, and MXES was created by Gregory and Vanessa solely off of their knowledge of computers and hacking.
Um the Afton ending has to be Canon, to many things in ruin would not make sense if it's not

@koooox_Official Like the fact that the structure of the Pizzaplex was damaged due to a sinkhole and tremors beneath it. Which would have only been caused if Gregory was down there burning things that only happens during the Afton ending.
The fact that Gregory's backpack and walky talky was down there for the Mimic to get its hands on. The fact the Blob was able to escape into the main portion of the Pizzaplex.
And finally the fact that the Mimic that was trapped down there for years, somehow was able to Mimic Gregory's voice and get ahold of his walky talky to lure Cassie down to him. Something he would have only be able to do if he witnessed Gregory.

1)~ That can still happen by the blob without gregory doing anything and there is a lack of fire damage anyway so most of the damage comes from the blob/"The earthquake"-newspapers on the windows (probably coverup)
2)~ The backpack is outside, tho- *I must say it having the walky talky is wierd BUT we can't say it is gregories because in the main game we use a fazwatch* but its posible that it got communication through "Helpi" who seams to be helping the mimic for some reason...
3)~ Pretty sure the blob could have already escaped in the main game before ruin as we see some items in the gallory missing... but even if it did not it could probably escape easily imo
4)~ I mean it is the mimic.... it mimics..... again not sure about the walky talky belonging to gregory.... also candy cadet says the mimic "learned" by listening and not by watching... I would assume that the mimic found a way to connect to Helpi and through Helpi into the V.A.N.N.I. network to hear and learn about gregory and the world around him? Also gregory might have gone with vanessa down there to build M.X.E.S. to stop the mimic from tampering with the vanni network and left the freddy backpack there by accident...
@@koooox_Official 1 yes there was some damage, there is black soot on the walls. And no, the Blob was only able to move its tenderals through the walls but couldn't brake into the main pizzaplex until an opening was made. Also, the pizzaplex has been opened for YEARS why would the Blob just now decide to go on a rampage, unless it's was corrupted by something? Agony perhaps that it could have obtained through "cough, cough absorbing a certain someone. Cough, cough"
2 I'll admit I forgot about the Fazwatch but I just chalked that up to him obtaining it at some point and losing while fleeing the rubble falling round him after defeating afton.
3 as I said why would the Blob decide now to brake through when it had years prior to do so, something had to have disturbed it, and or corrupted it.
4 we are lead to believe this thing has been cealed down here for years, there is nothing to believe it would have been able to spy on Gregory unless he was down hear. Also why would Gregory know about this place or even the Mimic to install the M.X.E.S program unless he saw first hand a previous iteration of itself. I believe this is the original Mimic which Burntrap was likely fused to the endo of a newer Mimic ran by a more updated Mimic 1 program.
Too many things don't add up for Burntrap to not exist as it means, what was the point of Glitchtrap and the many references to the Return of William Afton that span years. Seems like a waste to throw away years of build up just to make it none Canon in favor of a new enemy that has never been seen before. Also if Burntrap doesn't exist then where is Glitchtrap? All the good vanny ending did was free Vanessa from Glitchtrap, it did not permanently defeat it, so what happened to it and the plans it was doing with Vanny this whole time.
Finally there is no way Vanny, dug up Williams corps, fused it to a Mimic endo, and put him on charge all in the 6 hour span that Gregory was stuck in the Pizza Plex, all while searching for Gregory while as Vanessa or chasing him as Vanny. Burntrap us something that would have taken months if not years to complete, thus he would have had to be completed before Gregory would even climb into Freddy at the start of Security Breach for Vanny to have the time to do what she did.

This theory is so wrong in so many ways and I can’t believe people believe that it’s true which is not. First thing Vanessa is still Vanny and I know this is because in the Ruin dlc there are new spry paints of Vanny’s face and name that were not there in the base game and we know it can’t any other people that did that because first Vanny was never a character in Fazbear Entertainment so no one would know how to draw Vanny and if a worker was the one that did those spry paints that would also not make sense because sure the Vanni mask was made for the workers but the spry paint that had Vanny’s name was spelled with a y not an I and we also now in the base game Vanny had already spry paint her name in her room in Fazer blast and her face in the Burntrap boss room. Second The Entity is Glitchtrap because first thing is if it was a program would have Helpi know that is a program because it knows all about the security even the M.E.X.S machine so how would it not know that it is a program and not an Entity so that means that The Entity is not a program but in fact Glitchtrap. This than proves that The Mimic was never Glichtrap and Glichtrap is in fact William Afton sine The Mimic and The Entity/Glichtrap are different characters entirely there are also a little more facts how The Entity is Glitchtrap.
P.S Gregory literally said that The Mimic was down there for a long time so that means that The Mimic was already trap by the time he was there.

MXES's main body (the computer) always looked kind of like a coffin to me, especially with how the last time we see the thing, it emerges like a ghost from it.
There is also the issue that... Fazbenders set up the basis of AR technology, including implants and those afton sound disks for creating hallucinatory obstacles but Gregory and Vanessa had built an immense secirity network behind Fazbender's back to imprison an endoskeleton that has already been locked into the basement which had concrete poured over the entrance. But they forgot to remove the forklift, which was literally the only way of breaking through in reasonable time?!

If you stare at the large static screen in chapter 1 long enough RWQFSFASXC appears, and he stares down at Cassie. Markiplier had it happen in part 1 of his playthrough, but never noticed; however, some of his viewers did notice it immediately, and time-stamped it.
I saw that too and was excited, then I saw multiple people say that Shadow Bonnie wasn't actually in the game, that it was EDITED in. Idk if that's true but if it is then we've been lied to.

Was created out of the Glitchtrap Virus and Part Personality of Glitchtrap himself, that would explain why we dont See or hear anything from Glitchtrap and it would also explain why Mimic is possesd because glitchtrap is blocked out by the M.X.E.S. Programm his own personality that is now defending his Cage that holds him prison and At the same time He can only use mimic as body and can use helpy as limitit comunication that He can use, that would also explain why some animatronics are still hostyle and also why M.X.E.S. Is acting in some Way similar to Glitchtrap

This video assumes that everything the Mimic said to Cassie in Ruin is true. Which we know it isn't. All the info in this video was communicated to Cassie under the guise of Gregory. Why would you believe ANYTHING the Mimic tells us?
