I would hope this is the Theatrical Version of the movie as I feel the Unrated takes away from Lloyd & and Harry's dumb innocence, and just makes them a tad more crass. But all the same, this movie just utterly cracks me up with laughter, no matter if I dared try to avoid it.
The theatrical version is definitely better. The bits from the unrated version were really unnecessary and/or gross.
Lloyd is dumb and a bit malicious (sells a dead bird, "Okay shoot him!"), while Harry is dumber but is a genuinely good guy (takes a bullet for Lloyd, instantly forgives all Lloyd's transgressions when he shows up on the scooter).
The Farrelly bros enjoy a fair bit of darkness in their comedies (dead birds and poisoned gangsters 😅). There's Something About Mary and Kingpin are 2 more from them.

If you want to see Jims absolutely wild Method Acting skills, u gotta check out "Man on the Moon", not his most successful movie but by far his most touching imo. He became Andy Kaufman, not just in the movie but in real life too, there is also a documentary about this crazy production (Jim & Andy - The Great Beyond 2017), very touching both movie and docu.

Jeff Daniels was in a great comedy called Dutch. Totes worth the watch. Summary, spoiled rich kid gets picked up by moms new no nonsense boyfriend for a road trip back home for the holidays and hilarity ensues.

My favorites of Jim's were The Cable Guy, and, Me, Myself, and Irene. LIAR LIAR, an Dumb and Dumber were very good too. Even though The Mask and Ace Ventura were good, they were just a different type of comedy that I didn't care for.
The woman who plays Mary - that turned out to be his wife for less than a year. 1994 the film came out he married her 1996., it’s the first Farrelly movie and they didn’t know who Jim carrey was, carrey undid some dental work for the film, the hotel in the film was a famous one, it was a massive box office hit, it was $17 million to make but made $247.3 million

My mom saw this in the theaters when she and my aunt were in highschool. She and her friends laughed so hard in the theater one of the girls peed herself😭😂 she was fine dont worry. My mom went home and dragged her sister out the house to go watch it a second time, insisting she needed to see it immediatly😂
