Sario Riffs: An Animorphs TV Retrospective (w/Andalite Armfight Productions) 1/4

What if K.A. didn't quit watching as quickly as we were led to believe? And the production crew paid a lot more attention to the books than anyone gave them credit for.
After a year doing a full read through of the Animorphs series, Dan & I spent an afternoon examining the TV Show. A bit of praise, a lot more lampooning... but mostly just us egging each other on to expound upon increasingly implausible and complex fan theories.
In this first entry, we also reflect on our memories of watching the U.S. Nickelodeon premiere, 23 years ago (that hurts!), and the unique late-90s media backdrop that created it.
I, Torren, owe you all an apology and solemnly swear to never again record without a pop filter. I know better. I mixed out/turned down as many of the plosives as I could. Dan's audio is fine.
Elephant in the room (Hi Rachel!): Our schedules happened to permit recording this about 3 days before Lord Ravenscraft's far more professionally-executed Animorphs TV Show video released. We (perhaps unsurprisingly) make some similar points, namely praise for The Capture (especially the ending) and criticism for the show's extensive use of fake slow-mo. For whatever it's worth, count this a whole-hearted recommendation for that video.

Great research guys! Though the TV series was generally rubbish, it has its charm. You hit the nail on the head!
Good point on Tobias not touching the disk. If he had, it would have saved a whoooole lot of time! Also, how did Elfangor know he'd become a nothlit?

Oh, wow! I remember that website! And I remember how hard it was to see this show because Friday wasn't a school night and my family always wanted to go out and do something.
