An unabridged fan reading of 1997's The Andalite Chronicles, the first chronicle in the Animorphs series. There's currently no official audio book of TAC or any of the chronicles, and I frankly wasn't satisfied with any of the fan solutions I could find. So, with the help of my pal Dunning-Krueger, I made one.
I have so much to apologize for, but I make no apologies for my pronunciation of "Elfangor", "Taxxon", and "Aristh." I do regret my inability to consistently pronounce "Dracon" (rhymes with Raycon, not bacon).

Listening to these heavy, well written powerful sentences in the background, gives me an existential crisis.
I remember the beginning of the book but idk if I finish it but man Chaplin traded his whole planet and everyone on it that's insane. It surprised me a lot!
Unfortunately it's not really revisited in the main series. A lot of fans wish it had just been some other random human. I'm kind of 50/50 on it.
@@torren5950 it's a cool reference to animorphs but kinda a waste at the least his upbringing that could have made him be like that

I read this book actually was the only one I had of the andalite chronicles. It was a good book it was one of the few animorph books dealing with space travel and other worlds I had at the time
This was one of two books where, upon finishing it as a kid, I immediately went back and started it over (which involved switching books since I had the 3-volume version available through book orders)

My HOPE is to just do the Chronicles and then possibly Megamorphs, because they don't have (and don't seem likely to be getting) official audiobooks. The main series has official audiobooks for all 54 entries now and they're available to most people in the US & Canada for free through Hoopla, which you can access through your public library; most library networks participate. So I don't want to compete with those.
