Bought my Airborne basically on price & now absolutely love it , well made compares well with far more expensive weapons , if I had to give a downer it’s the safety catch but once used to it , it’s ok ! , shop were I bought were a bit negative on the spares front & backup & could not even supply spare mags BUT now found a company called Gun,s R Us who supplied spare mags off of the shelf & spoke to them about spares & the answer was no problem , & once again would I buy another ATA , the answers YES !
Had my Airborne about 6 months & simply love it , dry accurate & right up there power wise , would I buy another , well the answer is YES 👍
If this came out in 2010 it would have cost at least a grand, at the end of the day it basically a modern side lever style theoben ,but with a quick fill and gauge, nice to see companies making affordable rifles that can hold there own against mutch more expensive offerings.
Great video Rack
A proper pic rail as opposed to that hokey/hybrid rail that Kral does. Take that trigger down to 1 lb., some bigger glass and those groups would shrink, I'm sure. Carry on, Rack.
Another Nice Rifle Ideal for starting out and price.
At long last,I mentioned this rifle in your live gigs in lockdown ages ago 🤣🤣
Looks like a cracking rifle for the money!
Quality control issues aside ,I've heard a few people give praise to these rifles.
Looking forward to buying one soon, what make of regulator is fitted in this model of ATA? 👍
Could do with a chronograph test with your best pellets, H&N FTT. My experience with Turkish made airguns is they can be a little hot sometimes out the box, exceeding our sub 12 Ft/Lb limit. I always chronograph PCP with a heavy pellet first, at lease 21 grains, from a full fill pressure. One full magazine would tell you it’s consistency and energy at that muzzle. It is indeed a nice rifle for its price.
Not got the rifle anymore dude as it was a loaner...
I really like my ATA Airborne. It did have to go back to Range Right as there was an issue with it dumping the air and the fault was the O ring behind the filling port. It is very accurate with RWS Superfield (mine is 22) I really don't think it is a two stage trigger. I have had a play with adjusting it and wheras you can adjust the sensitivity it certainly doesn't feel two stage , you only notice the difference when you go from a gun that is two stage to the ATA.It is a heavy old lump but it is very well made and a lot of gun for £400.
Missed your comment, I just commented seeing if anyone had the same issue.
Received mine with 175 bar and put about 50 shots through it and filled it to 200 bar and it vented all the pressure. Did yours get sorted and the problem not happen again?
What pellets do these perform well on?
The rat works are now doing their version of this rifle, after they have worked their magic on it , more expensive but you get a good rifle that has been made better, still cheap for what you are getting, 😁👍
.177 bench rest gun ???? Any thoughts.
Air arms diablo field 5.52 pellets work a treat in this gun
As you say shame about that safety. Everything else seems pretty darn good if you don't mind heavy rifles. ATB MMMD
What does the FAC run at?
What's the thread on the moderator? Also, is the trigger adjustable?
standard 1/2 in unf . Trigger is a single stage with adjustment on the sear
So I’ve just bought one, came filled with 175 bar. Did maybe 50-60 shots or so and filled it to 200 bar and it started venting its entire pressure out of the fill port. Google tells me it’s a common problem and a fair few people have had it repaired to do the same thing again.
Anyone had this issue?
Was it a cold day?
@@andrewheale4738 it was probably a 20°C day. The valve o ring had split and it was a brand new gun. Went back to supplier and was replaced. Have t had an issue since
How many grain can you shoot with it
hi mate is it having anti double cooking feature
No buddy, it doesn't.....
How many shots
Unfortunately not a lot of room to fit a shrouded barrel by the looks of it.
We had a couple delivered to our shop. They were sent back the same day, both leaking when filling up. For the money, I’d go for the RM8 over this.
Not Impressed. You show it shooting from a cradle and the target squares look like 25mm. I wouldnt spend anything on a gun that makes 20mm groups at 30 yrds off a cradle. Maybe try different pellets? Any gun been touted as a target rifle should be able to put 5 pellets in one ragged hole. Ok 1 outside the ragged hole. I wouldnt call your results "good groups".
There aren't lot of airguns that will do that in my experience. Also bare in mind that new guns need a bit of lead-ing up initially.
The accuracy will improve after a couple of tins of pellets .
