I have an ATA in 22 cal brilliant well worth the money i got mine for £400 and i don't regret it one bit i didn't clean the barrel before using it and it shoots very well and a full fill gets you plenty of shots
I love mine! The trigger and cocking are smooth as butter.
Good review Chris, looks excellent value for money
Ok Chris. You review them. I buy them. So my wife blames you lol . Got one of these yesterday stuck a pard nv008 on as my ratter this thing is seriously accurate. Best get my squirrel feeder up.
Bought one yesterday... Zeroed it up, and wow😍very accurate rifle. The suppressor that comes with it works well. The magazine holds 14 pellets, shame you only get one mag, 😢. I did order one online for under £30. Inc postage. Using the rifle is a breeze, side loading lever is very smooth, only shot 28 pellets through it so far, but it feels like a rifle that would cost 3 times as much, we worth 400 👍😁
Reminds me of my old Rapid 7 mk2
Docent look like these are available In the USA ...Great video .
Like the sound of that
Amazing value for a good shooter
Great review as I'm thinking of buying an ATA. The grouping shots are the tightest I've seen on a video so I would like to ask did you clean the barrel before testing ?
Thanks again for a great review.
Budget airgun but good quality. I enjoy mine in .22
Picked one up a month ago and in my opinion it’s untouchable for the money you pay.
Had my .177 for eight months, it is accurate enough up to 40m, has a very good shot count, too heavy for me to shoot off hand, the trigger is very industrial, it's heavy with no effective adjustment and in practice is single stage(I lost the little adjustment grub screw trying repeatedly to get some adjustment). Needds a long shaft Foster fitting, the one that came with it didn't fit into the stock recess of the filler port properly. All in all, for bench, or bipod shooting I am very pleased with it and have had zero problems. Bought a 3d printed single shot tray from ebay which works a treat.
Hi there , what pellets are you finding work the best , cheers
@@bozarich1 Hi, I'm happy with RWS Super Field 8.4 grain
First time I’ve come across your channel. Good review +1 subscriber. As I understand it the gauge on a bottle is a gauge the one on a rifle is more of an indicator than actual gauge. That’s what I was told anyway…
Yes the ones on the guns are rarely very accurate compared to the larger bottle gauges
I dont get anywhere near 200 .177 not without shots dropping ?
How many have a sore neck watching the outro?!? :D
Looks like you had a lot of fun with that rifle. Definitely going on my list, any chance of testing the .22?
No
I have the .22, .177 wasn't available, when I got mine, I can confirm it shoots a solid 11.5 ft/lb and is super accurate, ya get over 200 shots per fill, cocking mech and trigger feels closer to my hw100 than my kral np02, not bad considering it only cost £400
Ha ha, I will edit it, must be a glitch somehow, it shows on some screens but not others
Single shot tray?
Very random flyer shots, regulator isn't brilliant I think it only works when pressure is in the green on the dial
sub 12 ft-lb, means you dont need a license for it in the UK?
Correct
Cool thanks. You sell them? Wouldn't mind starting with a simple value air rifle that could be used for hunting rabbits/birds if you're able to recommend one?
@@hatchpeacock9962 please see description, I don't sell guns. Long time view as friends another associates do sometimes contact me for personal opinion and advice
Chris won't have enough Time with a review sample but like cheap Turkish pump and semi auto shotguns they look great value on paper and make a good first impression, however they are poorly built unreliable pieces of shit. My .22 ATA airbourne started leaking in the first week of ownership and whe I got it back after repair I couldn't tell you how long it lasted as I put it in my gun cabinet and came back to it 2 weeks later for a session at the range and it had leaked again and wouldn't take a fill. Not just a slight leak either, the seals were completely blown.. Looking at several airgun forums revealed that almost everyone had great initial first impressions, and loved the gun, for the 5 minutes it lasted before it fell to pieces. Also, dealer back up and spares are virtually non existent as the UK importer holds 0 stock of spares or replacement mags and every single item is import by request only.
Time may be short I agree but I have to shoot them a lot in the time i do have them and I treat guns quite thoughtlessly, not safe queens so they don't get an easy life. I could write a list of guns that never got as far as being reviewed because they were junk out of the box and some air rifle brands are very prone to this, air dumped instantly, unable to accept refills, cracked magazines etc etc. I agree o-rings which are known wear and tear components must be held I'm stock and easily available because one tiny leak will usually disable a Pre charged airgun in seconds. Manufacture to shipping times can be long and allow unused rubber seals to perish which is a big shame. So in short, if it's shite it will NEVER appear on camera because it's already made my work life difficult and I'm not going to wast valuable time on junk when there are so many good guns to use. I will say in my experience, Hw100's are phenomenally reliable but even they generally need a new seal kit every few years.....but you never get misfeeds and/or double charges, hence why I own one as well as 7 (2Hw) springers.
Rubbish don't bye it
Reasons ?
@@ritchie1990he wanted to say "rubbish" because of it's " turkish"
