We definitely respect him and deserve kudos for his single handed initiative to tranform the idea of train travel in Infia. This also shows the initiative of BJP govt lead by Modi. In 3013 in his speech at Pune he had clearly spoke as to how it was too late to upgrade the train from the colonial vintage. And he took the initiative. We have talent galore all around. The. Leadership should give the opportunities for the talents to bloom rather than looting the system. Congratulations. Bravo Modi.

Is the gentleman behind Modi's favorite train receiving the due respect he deserves? The public is not aware of it. You need to ask him in your interview.
Neither he nor his team received the recognition that was their due. Mr Sudhanshu Mani and his team were harassed by the jealous Railwaymen belonging to the other department (who held power at Railway board ). Mr Mani and his team members were slapped with vigilance cases and CBI cases (for alleged irregularities ) which were not proved, but the time taken in these enquiries was used to deny promotions to the team members of Mr Mani.

another important thing , that i saw in switzerland stations is there is no foot over bridge with steps for crossing platforms but they have underpass with ramps below tracks which are easly accesible, with proper waiting rooms , clean toilets , water facilities ,
foot over bridge should be removed and under pass below tracks should be made

@@ManiSudhanshu❤🇮🇳yes functionaity of railway has to improve ie speed of transist❤ a simple suggestion is, if propulsion system of Vande/Alstom rrts that can b taken to memu Nd some sort of upgrade done to ensure that all the running memu, cd possibly b made 180/200 kmph, enabled/compliant w automation nd ai technology incorporated, so that from 35-45 avg speeds all Memu r ensured to run atleast 60kmph avg speeds start2finish or if possible raised to 100kmph ie HRLY 100kms or 2km per min run is effective in its looped runs of say 60-90-120kmph as allocated w stops avg 10kms as short intercity/town connect😂😂❤❤❤❤
Thrs is always scope for juggad or improvisation of existing capital assets.... Only Innovative, out of the box original thinkers /group/with leadership to accomplish the task Nd real task masters who can accommodate changes alongside being flexible is it possible to do the impossible....

Am so happy India has achieved greater strides in modernization of Indian Railways... Vande Barath trains are definitely a pride of Make In India.. From day one I wanted to experience a journey in this train in Kerala... But because of its very high fares I couldnot afford to travel in this train.. hence like many I am not in a position to fulfill my dreams... I think this not a train meant for middle or lower class Indians that means nearly 70%+ of the population will not be able to travel and experience this train... But hats off to the team who hv invented this cosy train...

Second someone who can integrate the 8 coach rake with the present lhb to increase decrease speeds to 160kmph runs atleast ie 700-750kms in 5hrs run non stop or w stops
3rd a person who can make these mass produced ie 8-20 rakes allocation for the making of a metro city or 2 in India on monthly basis ie, one run every 15min/hr ie 4VB metro runs looped for 15hrs aday, adding a capacity of 3200-3500passengers x2 both sides raised to 10k in top town cities , both sides in an hr, can even b 6coach doesn't matter
4rth to run mini durontos 850kms@10hrs 100rakes of 12coach ie 1k or 25coach ie 2k passengers with push pull
5th start up of aluminum-magnesium rakes
N balastless track portfolio insertion wr ever speeds r restrictive ensuring 120kmph from present 60kmph avg speeds

The point made by Sudhanshu Mani on the unnecessary creation of malls etc in station premises is absolutely correct. When there's already a sea of travelling people ... there's is no need to amass shopping crowds that will create more chaos !

Modernising signalling and high speed track, CCTV coverage on all tracks and each compartment, High speed wifi and better internet and mobile coverage, provide new high speed track of atleast 250 to 300 instead of 160 either thru elevated or new track with new route or with fresh acquisition whichever possible. This will not hamper existing train traffic and for fresh start it will be better.
From Sudhanshuji's description of actual 'world class' and our current version of world class, its disappontingly clear that our thinking and approach have not evolved with time. We still go for cheap glitz than actual functionality
The actual world class also cost world class monies. There has to be some give and take as we are just an developing economy. Not there yet.
