    Itoje is one of the best in the world, an asset to the English team and Lions.
    Unfortunately, he taints teams and the game with his dirty play. When confronted with his fouls, he resorts to pointing the finger back and pretending that the reaction is unjustified. Itoje's response to coming second in the world cup showed his character - not accepting the silver medallion being placed around his neck. I hope he'll develop some character.

    For the record, Itoje got DOMINATED by Eben and the Bok pack 🙋🏻‍♂️😛 there was a clip on CZcams showing Eben man handling Itoje 😂😛 he is a good player… but probably a bit of hype about him. Where was he in the RWC 2019 final against the Boks? 🧐🤨

    • @patrickchilds2987
      @patrickchilds2987 Před 2 lety

      How does evaluating Itoje as a player and basing it on a single game where the entire team was decisively beaten a credible indicator? Why not using your parameter instead look at his performance in the semi against NZ. Wayne Smith said after that Itoje had one of the best games he had ever seen a forward play, Tony Hanson said he was an exceptional player. Instead why not look at his performances at international level , the Lions or for his club.
      You understand that rugby is a team sport, so why are you posting that the springbok pack dominated him ? Rugby doesn’t work like that, it is a team sport I’ve seen several great scraps between Maro and Eben , both coming out with credit. Personally I would say Eben for his loose play tops Itoje . However good Eben is it’s ok to acknowledge that other players may also be good.
      They are both superb locks, both solid in the set piece but bring very different skill sets to the game in the loose. If you saw Eben handling itoje on CZcams you will likely find another of Eben getting dumped. I realise that player game and career stats aren’t probably your thing but I assure you they are a better indicator for a player than CZcams.

    Funny how In cricket the English like to lecture others on the ‘spirit of the game’. In rugby Itoje forgets completely about the spirit of the game. He’s an absolute tosser the way he screams at people and screams over opposition lineout calls.

    • @patrickchilds2987
      @patrickchilds2987 Před 10 měsíci

      I’m not sure what English cricket has anything to do with Itoje ? Who talks about the spirit of the game in cricket in any case ? , it doesn’t tend to be players, usually it’s media and keyboard warriors trying to score a cheap point .
      Also what chapter of spirit of the game do you think that Itoje is forgetting ?
      If you have played any senior rugby you would know that screaming over opposition line out calls and at players is fairly common and not illegal.
      So basically if we discount your England cricket analogy and your own construct of what constitutes the spirit of the game bs and screaming on the pitch all that’s left is just that you don’t like him and that makes him a tosser.
      Genius 😂😂

      'Foul Player ??? Alwsys plsying goul ? Really As a modern lock does he stand out for foul play amongst the other top loks in the game ? I dont think so .
      Perhaps if you set aside your personal dislike of him and just focsed on his playing you might have more of an appreciation for him.
      But I'm guessing by your generalisations you aren't really interested in how he actually plays and more interested in slating him regardless.
