I had the same experience with buying a new build flat. Totally understand how you feel and the exact same happened to me. You have to keep chasing them until they do what you expect and donât stop until the keys are in your hands! Xx
Also, 2 years later some snagging issues still not sorted out as promised and no longer stand valid! X

Hi Love, I'm a lot older than you are and what you are going through right now sounds very familiar to me, so I'll leave some honest advice coming from the heart (but take it or leave it, no resentment if you ignore it đ). Sometimes it's not about the universe creating the perfect timing, sometimes it's about teaching you how to evolve and handle some situations differently. When I was younger I was as nice and polite as you are and every time I had a problem, people kept letting me down âtomorrow we will fix itâ âoh sorry, we couldn't do it but next week it's finishedâ... Every time... Until my mom called. And she wasn't as nice, believe me. And guess what? She always got everything right away.
I'm not saying you should be rude, but don't let people walk all over you. Make sure people take you seriously. It was a lesson I had to learn myself. And today I realized that otherwise I would not have gotten to the point in my career where I am now, if I hadn't had so many defective cell phones and laptops back then đ
Anyway, whatever you choose to do, keep smiling and stay the lovely person you are.
Ah thank you and you are so right! This is exactly what itâs probably teaching me, my close friends / family have told me the same. Iâm not very good at putting my foot down but also itâs a delicate situation as I need to be on good terms with them so Iâm able to be helped⊠trying to navigate it â€
Totally agree with this, unfortunately in these situations you need to be a bit of a bitch. Example â the goal posts have been constantly changed by you for the last (insert number) weeks now. This has become totally unacceptable and unfortunately if things donât move forward within the next 24 hours I will need you to provide me with the details for your complaints departmentâ

Totally agree-I am a fair bit older, too - and, i have learnt to advocate for myself over the years - learning to be more assertive (without being rude, if course đ) is one of those lifeskill's that is necessary when you know that some people may be treating you differently. You've got this, Kate x

Sorry to hear you are having so many issues. Iâm newer to your channel, but I went through the same thing with my home in California. My move in date was supposed to be early June and didnât end up moving in until almost August. You seem like such a sweet person BUT some times you have to just remember that you deserve better service. Since I was buying my new build home on my own, I kept getting the run around (and much like you I gave them so much grace because I know some things are outside of their control). I very much agree with you about how the Universe has the exact right timing for each of us. Two very wise older women told me two different things: One is that there's a reason for the delay. And we may, or may not find out. The second woman told me to always stand up for yourself --- stand up to the strong when they are in the wrong by being assertive, as opposed to aggressive. As for your closet, I also like the first option too with the gold/brass. I love your style too. Thanks for sharing.

Love your "the universe has your back" reference by Gabrielle Bernstein đ. It's so true and it's also something I always give advice to whether it be my friends or family. I realise I haven't been taking it myself lately! I have been trying to secure a work sponsorship or a visa route to move to London for 11 months now from the US, and it's been so frustrating. Just have to keep reminding myself exactly that - the universe has my back and trust the timing of it all đ€đŒThank you for your last clip, it's helped me shift my perspective again xx
I would go all white in the wardrobe - as the colour/interest/tones will come via your clothes/bags/shoes. Keep it simple is the best advice I can give you as a designer!
Definitely go up 1-2 sizes on that cardi and then itâs perfect with the leather leggings đ

I would go for size up with the far fetch jacket / cardi. Personally l like either a crop or top that covers hips because the rule of thirds always sticks in my mind lol

I bought the Bea trousers from Frankie Shop about a month ago and have only worn them a handful of times and the front closure already came half off⊠Iâm going to get it sewn back on because I spent so much money on them (more than Iâve ever spent on trousers) but I will never buy from Frankie Shop again. I have $30 trousers that I purchased two years ago and wear multiple times a week and the clasps are still holding up perfectly well

Im in the progress of moving myself and it keeps getting prosponed. And they wonât give me any information. So i keep rescheduling my floor en furniture delivery. Im so over it. So I know how stressfull en frustrating this can be.
