People : “Let’s boycott Nintendo until they change their minds about emulation.”
Switch 2 : “Am I a joke to you?”
That's something I was wondering about. Since Yuzu is open source anybody can take that code and do whatever they want with it, but now Nintendo owns Yuzu. So is it technically closed source now even though the source code is already public?
I am enjoying Twilight Princess Gamecube verion on my Galaxy S23 FE right now. Internal resolution 3X. 30 fps with occational dip.
I now get more satisfaction from illegally emulating Nintendo games and will never buy another Nintendo game EVER
Same here. I was gonna buy the switch 2 but now I'll go out of my way to make sure I never buy a Nintendo product ever again.
Pirate away boys. Nintendo deserves it.
You're definitely and fortunately in the minority
@@thefinalboss2403 yep , a pc handheld would be better, more powerful, cheaper games and most games you dont have to rebuy. just reinstall them on that device. not tied to the sdcard and system
Emulation is not illegal technically speaking. The questionable practice is how roms are obtained.
I always find it funny that I'm emulating nes games on the PS2 console lol
The King of Nintendo YouTubing with another banger!
Nintendo will never be able to stop emulation completely, they'll just make it as difficult as possible for users.
They'll keep doing it themselves while screaming they hate emulation while region locking games and forcing people to either go without or emulate.
I physically own Hey You Pikachu from eBay. I cannot play it. I cannot pay Nintendo for a PAL copy. They can't yell at me for emulating it because I can't skip to my American friend's house with it.
Same with language locking.
@@Roadent1241sounds like your fault for buying a pal version lol
@@shanelee80 he owns the game, he can legally use the rom now to emulate it
@@Roadent1241 correction numb nuts Nintendo hates illegal emulation of their games.
Maury: The results say “ You are a Nintendo you tuber !!! “ 😅
This is why keeping a backup of emulated games on a drive is nice Nintendo can try all they want but they can’t stop me from playing the games I enjoy and I don’t have to pay for them if they ever get released again
So if I alreay have YuZu and Ive got roms for it, Is there any way I could get caught. I dont know how any company could find out you are playing roms since you aint connected to an online server
i dont think so if you stay offline and if you are online they cont prove you pirted it i think
I notified the Nintendo ninjas, and I did it for Joe from Game Sack.
hi RGT
If only governments could confirm the legality of all emulators
I just enjoy playing my 8/16 bit games. Sucks to have to look over my shoulder. If they are so mad about emulation that I am into, put a few more bangers on NSO.
ETA prime is the king of emulation devices, MVG is the king of Emulators, RGT85 is the king of Nintendo Switch (formerly woods position.)
Real ones know the true king of emulation devices is The phawx he is original handheld testing, still most knowledgeable and thorough one in his vids
But I do like eta prime Alot great guy
"Nintendo _Switch_ Emulation Is..."
There, fixed your title.
Dolphin is not affected.
Exactly and it doesnt even matter yuzu and ryujinx are more than good enough already
Microsoft bought Discord for 12 billions and Microsoft is in love with Nintendo. They want to protect Nintendo and have the best relationship with Nintendo at all cost.
Discord is not owned by MS - they don't even have a controlling interest. It's owned by DIscord Inc., an independent company with no connection to MS. Yes, there is discord integration with the Xbox, but there is no ownership aspect at all.
@@purelogarithm I guess there was an acquisition deal for 12 billions in 2021. I heard that Microsoft paid 12 billions to Discord back then but all it was a 12 billion deal. I wasn’t talking about Discord being on Xbox. Everybody knows that by now.
Microsoft already has the best relationship with Nintendo already because of Rare.
Has anyone considered that Nintendo will use the code from Yuzu to emulate Switch games on the Switch 2?
My favorite Nintendo CZcamsr RGT85
All these emulators talk tough and fold when Nintendo sends them a letter.
dolphin?
@@Ghoxtfire beautiful mammals.
@@Viviorkogaming dolphin emulator?
@@Ghoxtfire yes. One of a few. I looked it up. Credit to you.
I feel everyone should pirate everything Nintendo does because of their aggressive tactics. I no longer support anything Nintendo does Id rather pirate their stuff IF im interested...
Ah, my favorite Megadrive tuber
Well good thing flash carts exist then... And my Atomic Purple GB color, and my Game Boy advance....
If you want a good dive into the legalities of this, Video Game Esoterica's channel has a couple of great summaries.
I’m surprised Nintendo haven’t done anything about the MiG Switch yet
Nintendo emulation is in trouble? You just mean Switch emulation right
Our most favorite Nintendo CZcamsr ever!!!

Going to buy and use the downloaded one.
