    Hi. First, thanks for the information you shared here.
    I have a 2017 f150 RWD. Stock suspension, wheel (+44 offset) and no lift.
    Stock tire is 275/55/20.
    I would like to install a bigger tire.... Nothing fancy! I was thinking in 33's , maybe 34's , no bigger than that. For example,
    275/60/20, 33x11.5 or 33x12.5. My main concern is to rub with the UC. Right now the space between sidewall of the tire and UC is about an inch. Not sure if I will need to also install a set of spacers.
    Thanks

    Some helpful info, sorry if someone already mentioned it. The numbers on a tire, 275/65R18 for example. That tire 275mm wide, 65 means the side wall of the tire is 65% of the width. So that 275/65R18 is just a hair over 32” tall.
    So a 295/65R18 is smaller than a 295/65R20. You need all three numbers to determine overall height.

    • @juwanfitness9037
      @juwanfitness9037 Před měsícem

      @ediodosal6619 so if you're staying stock height, you most likely can't run a true 35. It'll be around 12.5" wide and I'm pretty sure that won't fit. So you have to run a 295 or 285 depending on the sidewall, it'll be right at 35 inch tire height. I'd say my 295/65 is the largest i could go on a level. I did a ton of research through the forums on what other guys with my truck were able to run on the same set up

      Youll need to flip (or cut) your front crash bars with that offset to fit the 12.5 wide. Stock offset you can fit 35x12.5 with no modifications. The back of the wheel well may need a little trim but not much. On the 295/65 youll probably have to do the front crash bars still but I doubt youd touch in the back
