This isn't the 1st time ceo ahn stole an artist this way. Many Korean news articles were reported back in July about a singer named Song Seung Young, and the company she was signed to was fortune. Ceo ahn used 24th Street Entertainment Co ceo's funds to pay for the singer Song's lawyer fees. This lawsuit went on for years. Bottom line, ceo of 24th st., lost all money & all ip to ceo ahn to include the building he owned. This ceo appeared in unanswered questions covering 5050 in Aug 19 episode as a street cleaner. Ceo Ahn cleaned him out totally. The Givers used that building until the early part of this year. This was what really upset Korean netizens. It was very obvious to outside people watching news how the girls & their parents were fooled by ceo ahn & started supporting ceo Jhon.

I don't know what Keena's motivation is behind the apology, if she's genuinely sorry or if she's jumping a sinking ship, but it takes a lot to admit you were wrong and apologise, publicly or not, so I wish her well. I've always thought and said this was all about money - but then everything like this usually is.
Honestly its probably a bit of both. She probably feels guilt about being manipulated to backstabbing the company that gave her everything. Plus, at this point with all the evidence, it is fair to say that the lawsuit wouldn't fall in their favour as much as they were hoping.

Also, maybe I'm a bit cynical (I am) but the prospect of ATTRAKT forming another girl group must have been a bit of a shock to all of them. What they were doing would suddenly be yesterday's news. One of the hardest things to do is admit that you were fooled and manipulated. That's why the other girls are still holding so strong onto the lawsuit. Keena is older with more experience so its no wonder she came to her senses first. You have to put your ego aside and learn from your mistakes.

It seems they were set on tricking attract ceo based on Keena’s explanations but it was better to say manipulated for lack of more retaliation… Because if her story checks out completely, that means the girls’ parents allowed Ahn Sun Gil (ASG) to fabricate a story and run with it & even finding out he was wrong they still persisted for the sake of a fatter check and ultimately a buyout of the group. So if the girls were manipulated, it would be from the parents and not ASG, as minors tend to just follow what their parents decide for them in a power struggle. The FIFTY FIFTY drama is getting hot, I need more updates
It was clear from the start that they had been manipulated into the situation. Their allegations were refuted one after the other. Allegations were directed at Attrakt employees when it was The Givers employees that were responsible for their day to day lives because the Givers were contracted to manage the group. Seeing that the parents didn't know that The Givers and Attrakt were separate entities explains why they kept accusing Attrakt employees (Including the accusation on the show 'Unanswered Questions' where they accused an Attrakt employee of throwing out the food they brought in when it was revealed that it was The Giver's employee).
Ahn Sung Il not only misled the girls but the parents as well. The transcript of the call between him and Keena's dad shows us that he essentially guaranteed that the injunction would go through and that he had the evidence to not only back it up, but to also lead to criminal charges to Attrakt CEO Jeon Hong Joon. Obviously, this never happened due to Ahn Sung Il not providing the "evidence" to back up the lawsuit. The whole thing was built on lies

I don't think so, they are still being stubborn about the situations even tho all the receipts have shown that the Givers CEO lured them with lies and false promesses and to be honest they bought the all thing out of greed too. They should have gone back when they were given a chance by Attrakt CEO but they refused, all they are gonna get is a lawsuit for diffamation if they keep going on with the accusations in the medias.
I don’t blame 50/50 nor did I ever see the CEO speak against them( he always went after the Givers, it’s the public who went after 50/50) according to the recording it seemed the parents were scared of debt. Or they thought they could make money without paying the debt unfortunately their insecurities were used against them. The recent article about them is not that their blaming Attrakt again they are blaming the industry for their financial transparency, but the person who knows the workings of the industry wanted more than a piece of the pie. 50/50 have never spoken against The Givers even after knowing his forgery or his theft. One is that she had never really talked negatively about ATTRACKT.

Fifty fifty situation is crazy and I feel like with a lot of the people in the comment section who are sitting here and being like oh people need to apologize to the girls or see it’s not their fault they have to understand that even though all the information that the givers were the ones doing this to them, came out the girls still double down on suing the wrong company. That’s why people are still calling them back stabbers in Asia. That’s why a lot of the Korean and even outside of Korea, but Asian fans over there don’t like them.

He just projected some random bs he cooked up and by chance it turned out not too far from the recipe (y'know how scammers still have that strings of network that they could pull to make people trust them). I feel like Fifty Fifty is caught in a corner and have to apologize to save their career. When has a company EVER keep the talent first or wanted what was best? Never. It’s about money. I’m on the side of the girls. It will probably come out years from now.
A lot of these companies operating out of pure greed. It seems strange. If your idols are getting sick cut down the schedule to a reasonable amount. Add in breaks so the idols can rest. Their popularity depends on them being healthy enough to sing and dance well on stage. Its like they try to cash grab all this money without giving a thought to the longevity of the group. If you let them rest peoperly they will make more money in the long run.
I support the girls too. Unfortunately I think Fifty Fifty is doomed at this point. There's no way the trolls will let them exist (you already saw that neither Fifty Fifty nor Cupid received a single nomination - and they won't from any of the award shows in part because their company would not allow them to perform.) Hopefully some of them will get to perform either as a solo artist (like some of the X1 members) or find another group.

I’ve mentioned this before, if people have to hide behind a name like the Givers they are trying to deceive you. They are doing everything opposite of what their name implies. The Takers is more of their intentions. Screw over the 5050 members and their existing relationship with Atrakt. Manipulate both sides. Hope these girls are okay and move on. It sucks what happened with Fifty Fifty. They literally had a major hit, and if you listened to there other songs they had very good songs my personal favorite from them was Lovin' Me. Then they had a track on the Barbie movie which is this year major blockbuster but because of the whole predicament i dont even think they saw any success of it. Im not sure what to think honestly, i dont know who is right and wrong. I do know that this was wasted potential.

Okay, long-winded comment incoming so, sorry in advance.
I had kind of buried my head in the sand about this FIfty Fifty issue since so much was being said about what was going on that it was confusing and it was difficult to form any sort of opinion on it. Now that things are starting to come to light and Keena has spoken out about what's been going on, I can understand how all of this got started and that the members weren't trying to stab anyone in the back. I think they trusted adults who did not have their best intentions at heart and only sought to take advantage of them. I really hope for a good outcome from all of this and that the members withdraw their lawsuits so they can go back to Attrakt and try to at least move forward, regardless of what that looks like for them. This has been such a mess and I can only imagine how much the members have suffered mentally from being lied to and manipulated so badly. Not only that but being at an impressionable age at the beginning of their careers and being guided by seemingly money-hungry adult(s) (for added context I'm not referring to their parents here, only the people involved with the business side of things) will inherently rub off on them to prioritize money as well. No, they're not children, but no one can tell me that they aren't impressionable at least slightly given how new their career is still.
I hope for the best for the group and that a cohesive decision can be made that's in the best interest for them, whether that means continuing or not. I just hope that this starts a conversation about moving forward and putting this entire mess behind them.
EDIT (10/23/23): I just found out about the termination of the contracts for the other three members. This is such an unfortunate situation for all involved and it makes me extremely sad. I hope Keena can redebut and that there's some sort of resolution to this soon so everyone can just move on. Accountability needs to happen first though.
Any sympathy for the members was thrown out the window the minute the information of deceit went public, and 3 of the members CONTINUED the lawsuit. Despite it being blatantly obvious they were wrong. Manipulation is irrelevant if they STILL are holding their ground

Fifty Fifty, only Keena has an adult mindset, the other three were supposed to graduate high school this year just turn 19 this year, in Korea 19 is legal age when students graduate. (Korean has used International age system). So the members are easily being cheated, and they trust what adults telling them what to do. At this point, we need the other members to step up and give their real stories to public like what Keena done, so the case will be closed soon, and they can continue career cuz they are really young, they have their future ahead. I hope children will no more being exposed to the industry at early age like them (they were around 16/18 when training at ATTRAKT). Fifty Fifty is an example of how minors may faced of contracts, idols diets, living in CCTV, lawsuits, and more…

So they were manipulated and it basically had nothing to do with mistreatment and if anything had to do more about money? So in reality it’s not the members fault but it still kind of is. 😅 lol idk kind of feel bad but at the same time if the other members keep going idk if I will cause it’s obviously not going to go well. they were never mistreated by Attrakt. it was the givers who mistreated them. 50/50 trained, recorded and produced at givers building 24/7. it was givers staff who threw food at 50/50 and abused them. there's pictures and evidences. givers is the one who controlled their diet.

i don't understand why the 50/50 members didn't immediately drop the lawsuit and ask to go back to attrakt once it was revealed that anh sung il lied... like dude if you catch him lying about 1 big thing what makes you think everything else he said wasn't a lie? they all should have just admitted they were tricked, laid the blame on anh sung il (which honestly like 95% of the blame SHOULD be laid on him, he lied to kids, of course those kids are gonna believe him how would they know how the industry works at that age?) and apologize to attrakt and go back to their original contract, or even give some concessions.
