- Just because you are on the road as a truck driver doesn't mean you have to miss Thanksgiving dinner. Learn to make your semi truck into a home. We love our instapot airfryer. It makes cooking in our cab so much easier.
We cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal in the truck! We made turkey, mash potatoes, turkey gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes casserole, corn, stuffing and pumpkin pie!!

I decided no cooking this year! I ordered a premade Thanksgiving (serves 4) from HEB and it took one hr to heat up and then when we were done eating just covered it up and popped it in the fridge. I had no dirty dishes. It was great !
That sounds nice and easy!! I'm so glad you got to enjoy it. I wish it was that simple for me. Unfortunately I have too many food allergies. So thankful for other drivers making the sacrifice to keep America rolling. Many blessings

Hey I have a question what do you think about one person drive for 8 hours then the other person drive for 8 hours and both sleep for 8 when the truck stop.
If you are ablentonget a run that allows that regularly, that would be ideal. I would think if a team runs under 4000 miles a week it would be possible
