  • Museum, open up! This applies not only to our collection and research, but also to the museum as a building. In the next few years we will give ourselves a new "face". Our forecourt plays an important role here, of course. And anyone who has visited us recently has certainly seen what this could mean!
Because in front of the museum, LAS Art Foundation is showing Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg's 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳, a living artwork for pollinators. At the core of the project is an algorithm-based tool that designs gardens tailored to the needs of insect pollinators. In the 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳 LAS Edition in front of the museum, commissioned by LAS, over 7,000 plants of 80 different species provide food for a variety of pollinator insects on an area of 722 square meters. You too can design a pollinator-friendly garden via pollinator.art.
