I’m still temporarily in the UK, my hiatus from life in thailand and my beautiful off grid farm.

To me it feels like you're walking around in a painting; it is *that* jaw-dropping beautiful over there in that part of Cumbria. Lucky prisoner of the day! 😂
We got a pheasant hanging around in our street. We call him Gerard (for no reason). No offspring yet.
That's the No1 thing I miss about UK, the countryside and hills and streams n rivers, bin the rest of it though..
mountain rescue are absolutely brilliant mate would have you down or a helicopter, leave a note in your room or tell someone where you are walking and expected times etc, then worst case scenario some one will come looking for you, thanks for sharing, how are you coping with the wet and the cold,

I'm your loyal subscriber since 2022. Gorgeous, gorgeous scenery - just like I saw it in the movies growing up - Barry Lyndon, Highlander, and Withnail and I (too late with the latter hehe)... You have a poor concept of prison. My brother has been there a few times and describes it as a small room with bunk beds, which he was locked up in at least 23 hrs a day.
