Hawkshead hill descent - Cumbria. I'm a cyclist and I live in the Pennines

- Following on from my Ambleside Cafe ride, this is the full Hawkshead Hill descent which is situated to the North West of Coniston in the Lake District. Today we took on this great little descent in rather damp conditions and made it to the bottom in one piece.
I hope this video gives you an insight into what it feels like to ride your bike down a big hill pretty quickly.

Gravel, twigs, grids, potholes and water. This descent had it all

@@MrDazP1adv3ntures thanks pal. It will be summer time so hoping for decent weather but who knows up there!🤣 Got 60 miles in today from Lancaster to Settle through Bentham Clapham Giggleswick and then Settle did it as a out and back bit of rain but really enjoyed it.
@gazzas28 some great places there on the route pal. I had a mooch in a river up near Sedbergh yesterday and saw loads of cyclists out and about .
25 miles for me today just to see my mum for mother's day.
I must admit … I did do a tiny little poo , when that bus came round that bend , on the other side of the road 😮😂
It was well over the line David but I guess it always will be given how narrow that section was
Yeah it wasn’t the bus drivers fault . Must be a nightmare driving a bus around those lanes 🥴
Sure thing but on the plus side Mike jotted down the 505 bus in his little book, it was missing from his collection.
