Next time the video will be mine :D Thank you for having me!
Thank YOU for taking over my aquarium! 🐠 :D
Hi last I love your videos
Hi Mr bacon
Bacon 🥓
lmao
When I first got the sestruck I missed the seamoth so much but when I upgraded the seatruck... oh boy, I missed the cyclops even harder
I miss the seatruck going back to Subnautica. The Cyclops is huge and kind of a pain to maneuver and can't dock, and the seamoth has like no storage. I need a truck for hauling stuff between bases!
@@keiyakins well, its a matter of taste I guess and in mine, the cyclops doesn't need to dock bcs he is the docking bay, I like that he's maneuverable enough for the open waters of subnautica, the sea truck always gets stuck between some narrow spaces and I hate that, plus you can't use the sea truck efficiently as a mobile base the way you can the cyclops but also the cyclops would never fit the shallow waters and narrow spaces of below zero
@@Passos_art
I just think the seatruck is neat. I liked it's design and the concept of upgrading a small vehicle into a bigger one with modules is just something I wierdly enjoyed. The semoth is better as a one person sub and the Cyclops is better as a big mobile base. I still think the seatruck is a good mixture between the two and I would love to see it in subnautica three.
@@hecker99 I mean I agree, the Seatruck was actually a nice vehicle, the issue really just came from Below Zero itself being well, it was alright, but not great imo, the narrow spaces and shallow waters ruined it for me and felt less explorable.
I'd love to see all three in the next game, with the Cyclops able to dock a Sea Truck with 1-2 modules attached when you want a more stable living.
@@mrgordon. the music player is indeed the best thing about the seatruck and BZ bases, I love that
The seatruck is when you have 1 thing that can do anything, but only in a very mediocre way, while other vehicles are basically pros at whatever they're specifically designed for
Basically the best way to put it. Nothing beats the Seamoth for quick scouting missions and exploring tight areas and nothing beats the Cyclops for moving large amounts of materials or acting as a mobile base.
yeah, its called generalists vs specialists
While nothing beats the PRAWN Suit for heavy labor in any environment, and for fighting off aggressive fauna.
Bacon's appearance was a genuine but amazing surprise! Would be could if there would be more in the future.
We will have to wait and see DomKe! 👀
I really love how this is formatted like a manual given to a Seatruck pilot.
Except the doubting about alterra's morality part
Fun experience with the Seatruck was managing to get it stuck inside of the Mercury 2 bow. Was playing on my laptop with low settings and sometimes it'd take awhile for things to load. I had looked up coordinates for the bow and drove directly to them, not realizing that I had driven inside of an unloaded area. 20 seconds later and I realized I'd driven into my tomb.
i feel like modules not having a crush depth was only done for gameplay reasons.
it'd be annoying to keep track of all their depths - especially when the game decides to randomly disconnect them all, or you misclick - so they removed it to alleviate some annoyances.
i do think they'd draw their crush depths from the cabin though. Depth upgrades just rearrange the atoms of each vehicle, so it's not inconceivable that it could extend that effect to any connected modules.
Awesome video, these are so well made.
Also was not expecting to see Bacon when I clicked on this
I thought it would be a fun surprise McMaverick! :D
I actually liked some of the upgrades the seamoth had, and liked its modularity. Yes it's a slightly worse version of both previous vehicles, but thats kinda how modularity works, you sacrifice performance for adaptability. But also the afterburner was very fun and its ability to just kill most creatures (like those annoying ass cryptosuchus) was SO useful. Also, the jukebox was FIREEEE.
I feel like if the seatruck was a little faster then it would be a better vehicle, as currently there’s no reason to attach a recreational module as it slows you down far too much. Also the appearance of bacon was quite a surprise
Make a second seatruck that is for luxury travel
@@chip6933 💀
the seatruck dock is also a much neater way to keep all the modules nearby, rather than just having them float about.
In the first version of below zero when robins name was still Robin Goodall the sea truck actually had a backup camera
Its weird because I never said anything to them, I never sent an email with suggestions, but the whole time I was playing Subnautica I kept saying "we need something slightly larger than a Seamoth that can do more" and sure enough, the psychic bastards heard me and DID IT!
When I found out there was a PRAWN carrier I damn near peed my pants.
The effort this man puts into his thumbnails is just wild
Thanks Freehandtree!
The aquarium module is so underrated, I never had to worry about food while taking long trips or food using up my inventory space
Wish it had a farm module like the interior farm bed you could place inside the cyclops
Let me guess, Neptune rocket next?
Are you a wizard Obamaprism? 🤔
@@iAletho no if I was a wizard I would make more vehicles in subnautica to continue this series
My two favorite subnautica* youtubers in a collab, my disappointment is nonexistent and my day is made
Haha glad you liked it Welsh!
@@iAletho No, thank you mate! Also I fixed the numerous typos lol
The Sea Truck: For when you want a cyclops, and a seamoth, so you get something that's a worse version of both.
It would be great for a larger environment like with the original Subnautica, but with all the tight spaces of BZ, it just can't handle well unless you dump all the modules, at which point it becomes a worse Seamoth. It has potential but doesn't really fit well. Maybe if the storage was buffed so you had large walls of storage instead of a handful of small compartments I'd have a highet opinion of it, or if it had better speed and handling, but as it is, there's barely any point to using it, as by the time it gets big enough to have the modules that make it worth taking on long trips, it's too large to get it far very easily. We should have just gotten a medium sized submarine instead, perhaps even something that could dock to a seamoth to make it a bigger ship with more storage and abilities, while still using the seamoth as the driver seat you could undock from as needed.
The last sentence essentially describes the Seatruck. Yes, the driver cabin is inferior to the Seamoth (and by far), but it's more fitting the overall design, while anything attached to the original's Seamoth's "behind" would look like a sore thumb, just weird in my opinion. While the Seatruck is worse than the Seamoth and the Cyclops combined, its sleek design makes up for its disadvantages. And the modularity makes up for the overall lack behind the Cyclops'es versatility (and size). And there's one more advantage over the original vehicles. While in the original game you've had the option to go in the ocean with the huge Cyclops and when the need asked for, you've entered the Seamoth and explored further. But you had to turn any power hungry facilities aboard the Cyclops off and board the Seamoth. With the Seatruck, you don't have to. In fact, you just stand up from the controls, approach the lever, give it a pull and return to your seat. That's it. After your exploration trip, with the original vehicles, you had to dock the Seamoth back in the Cyclops, turn everything you need back on and then return to your home base, while with the Seatruck you just reverse into the modules, they attach automatically and you're good to go. That's quite an improvement, I'd say.
@@Croftice1 But its downsides don't make up for it. And I wasn't describing the seatruck, I meant something with distinct slots to put things into akin to how the normal vehicles work. Storage or upgrade slots. Like a scaled down Cyclops.
The Cyclops works better across the board, especially in storage, and it was pretty easy to fill a locker with power cells just using a scanner room to find the copper.
i'm pretty sure thr Seatruck is actually for space travel despite it's name containing "Sea" and most likely not designed for sector zero.
I prefer the seatruck in practical terms tbh. The cyclops always felt like overkill and like a mobile base that I largely didn't need even in the original game, since I built a number of static bases as staging grounds. The strength of the cyclops was that it meant players weren't railroaded into my style of play, but had an option to do it another way. But equally the cyclops also wasn't the only way to play, and if you didn't play that way then it didn't add a huge amount of value to you.
The seatruck on the other hand, it can function near enough like a seamoth in cab-only mode, it can function like a cyclops for hauling with multiple storage modules. It can function like a mobile basecamp with the fabricator to extend your "time away from base". It can function as a prawnsuit ferry. It can fill the role of three vehicles at once (Seamoth, minicyclops AND prawnsuit ferry) which the cyclops could only do two at a time.
It couldn't be a fully independent mobile base, and it couldn't be everything all at once, but I never needed or wanted it to be. What I wanted was something that was super easy to switch and change configurations for the task I was going out to do, and for that it excelled, far more easily than the base game vehicles. Getting in and out rapidly and regularly was more of a faff than the seamoth, but I just stopped with the constant hop-in-drive-5m-hop-out approach and used the seaglide more than I ever did in the original game (where I basically never used it after getting the seamoth).
Make it bendy so it works better rather than straight
i love how subnautica devs changed up the idea of seamoth. and made it into this whole new thing you can add storage, fabricators and much more
The idea of the Seatruck was a really good one, although I personally felt the vehicle was a bit to slow overall imo! Thanks again for watching Aristotle!
Personally, it felt like a crap replacement for the seamoth/cyclops. The storage space alone makes it almost useless unless you make half a dozen storage modules.
@@aidengray3998 Ya, I appreciate unknown world's attempt at merging the cyclops and seamoth into one vehicle but I gotta agree with you. It tries to fill in both roles and completely fails.
I miss the "I am Now Nemo"-feel of crafting the Cyclops in the original game, though.
What the seatruck is really missing is a reason to transport a lot of materials from place to place. If below zero had automated mining in bases, then the seatruck would have been amazing.
If only the seatruck was as good as this video about the seatruck.
😂 thanks General Advance!
I made the interior dark blue, MK3 crush depth, all modules, added my own custom music to the game files, added the defence module, and the horsepower upgrade, I named it the party bus, and I'm convinced that subnatuica needs mirrors
The seatruck was a great new vehicle but it doesnt replace the sea moth nor the cyclops. I still Absolutely love this machine. It has beautifull modularity. You can do dozens of combinations and you are the one who determines its mission profile.
But that takes away charm. And a jack of all trades is a master of none. As a scouting ship in its pure form, it falls behind the sea moth in many ways. And it can never field the same mobile setting as a cyclops.
When subnautica 2 comes, i really hope the sea truck is included. Subnautica below zero is not as good as the first game but its still a good game and the sea truck deserves more praise.
Two great Subnautica CZcamsrs in one video. What have I done to deserve this?
Blessed 🙏 😅
been waiting for a while for this video, i love the seatruck you are very underrated, i also wasn't expecting the last bacon to appear
Cheers and thanks again for watching as always Swindle!
I'd quite like the seatruck in the OG Subnautica, but I don't expect it. Huge fan of the devs for updating both games as they go along when they have no obligation to do so, but I don't think the Seatruck would make sense to put in that game.
I think it makes sense where it is gameplay wise because the undersea is more complicated to navigate than the first game so no Cyclops would work, and the first game it doesn't make much sense because it wasn't a part on any of the crashed ships so how did it get to the planet? They'd have to change the lore to make it make sense.
Though if it did show up, and we ignored it made no canonical sense, I wouldn't be upset. I still explore that game even though I technically "beat it" (never actually left the planet, but I can via my spaceport of many ships at any time 😂).
i really like the sea truck, with the upgrades and almost all the modules and prawn, its like a mobile outpost.
it fits almost anywhere. park somewhere hidden and continue with prawn. You can outfit the prawn along the way to fit what you need to do, you can craft, get fish easily and when you bring alot of cells and batteries you can last really long.
with this style you really only need 1 large primary base
The cyclops did mosr of what you're implying here mate but on a much larger scale. Albeit the seatruck is better for shorter runs. In terms of mobile base the cyclops is basically one from the get go.
The best subnautica collab ever
the cyclops was better but i get that there aren't enough open areas to drive the cyclops freely in subnautica below zero. I also like the option to detach the modules and basically drag a buoyant hotel room around underwater
Wow. Bacon totally caught me by surprise. Very well done. So glad to see you are getting collabs with larger channels. Very well deserved Aletho! Your vids are great.
The updates for the first game are done now so no seatruck, BUT I can see all the vehicles to this point being used in S3... Honestly so excited on where they can take this game in the next installment
I like to imagine, that Alterra just wanted to make vehicles like Cyclops, but much cheaper to make and this is the result.
Great video, There is some notable information that seems to be missing however. Like the fact that despite being made of the same materials as the Seamoth, it has the base health of 600 (Same as the Prawn Suit). Also you can add two modules before they begin to slow down the vehicle.
Very nice video, well-edited and informative while being entertaining! Nice to see The Last Bacon as well :)
Thanks ShadowScythes! I thought the cameo would be a fun surprise! :)
The seatruck is one of the greatest weapons in subnautica below zero
The Perimeter Defence upgrade trivialises leviathans. I completely stopped being worried about them once I realised that and breezed through the final areas.
@@Demchugdongorub But only for the Seamoth, which can only take you as far as the Lost River. A fully upgraded Seatruck has a maximum depth that's greater than the Fabricator Caverns.
this video showed me how much i missed while playing this game
Mmm Tasty!
Hello
@Aydini I guess Hey Aydini :)
Im so glad that there are people who can make it entertaining to listen to things I already know
Your videos get better and better, i can't describe it really.
Thanks as always Miliradian! I'm glad you think I'm improving!
alright hear me out: subnautica but space. thank you for coming to my ted talk. i would like to thank my legs for always supporting me, my arms for always being by my side, and my brain for always giving me great ideas. thank you.
Awesome vid. I honestly like the sea truck and all of alteras vehicles
The amount of times I came close to death because the stupid seatruck door is in one specific spot even though I can enter my beloved seamoth from any angle. Yes, when I'm being chased by a shadow leviathan or about to lose consciousness from lack of oxygen, I love having to find the hatch instead of just jumping in. 😅
Sick video. Loved the style, both very interesting for lore enjoyers and practical for new players! The editing was also on point. And of course, the bacon cameo :) Great job, you earned a sub :D
Thanks Cuddlie! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
Seatruck is just the combination of seamoth and cyclops. It's awesome
Its the happy medium Apostolos!
I feel like they should’ve added an auto pilot module because it would actually cut a lot of the back-and-forth tediousness from the game, because not only are you not able to instantly transfer whatever your PRAWN suit has into the sea trucks storage especially because you have to do it on manually. There’s no reason for the docking module to be so small mainly because there is room to actually put even more panels on the wall, and I am not joking All you need is to get rid of the glass and then you can actually use it the other issue for the C truck is it’s way too slow even with upgrades once you have multiple modules and I have a feeling that the game would’ve done better if they added an auto pilot module that will let you directed the sea truck to go back home, sort, everything and dump it into lockers in the base if the prawn suit is attached on its docking module it will not be detached, but it will have its resources also automatically sorted and dumped at your base. You will be able to interact with the truck remotely through the PDA. You will unlock the ability to have your seatruck automatically travel back to base from wherever you might be once you actually get to the biome you’re in for the first time it works just like the scanner room where it once you put it in an area it will start sending notifications to the player saying this resource or creature is actually in it’s scannable range It works just like the in pop-ups for blueprints.
thats an actuall awesome idea@@firetitanyt1538
would make the c truck like something different@@firetitanyt1538
Amazing video as always mate, keep up the good work! (also your one of my fav yters)
Wow thanks Sint! It still feels weird to be considered a youtuber haha!
@@iAletho no problem mate!
I’d like to see, if they want to, a Subnautica 3 set in both space and an ocean planet kind of like No Man’s Sky
Loved how you included Bacon and awesome Video 🔥
Thanks NLR_Pcwilli! I thought it would be a fun way to bring the collab to life!
I love both the sea truck and the big boy they both had the same message [movable base] and both did it there way
4:30 A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
We will watch his career with great interest!
Finished the game a few months ago, didn't know the sleeper module existed until now.
I hope subnautica 3 combines 1 and 2 with a larger ovean, larger islands, enormous creatures larger than your screen, multiplayer, and peepers.
I just wish there was access the Prawn inventory from in the sea truck. and maybe an internal transfer tunnel of some sort.
yea like the cyclop
Great video, shared!!!
WOOOO YEEEEEE BABY THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
love this video, you just earned a sub!
Cheers dude! :)
It's a little weird that he does not use knots to measure the speed of the veichles.
“Structural supports” yeah right that docking module needs repairing every dang trip because I fly at it with the prawn suit lol.
"they might develop an ever so slight case of the dead" 😆

“And our next topic was- wait, wait, what’s happening? Hello? Wait, no, no, no this was supposed to be my video! Nooo…!”
Me (chuckling): Bye, T.L.B!
I'd love for the seatruck to be closer to an underwater train or semi caravan, a mobile base to live in.
If the modules were snake like: it would definitely work
Why did this video make me feel like I was in an airplane safety demonstration😂😂😂
i was so the person who was furiously reversing my seatruck into a module during my 1st play, i only discovered i can manually attach a module by accident. Also never knew i could make a larger discharge with the defense grid. All in all the sea truck isnt bad but it cannot match up to the cyclops.
The feat is very cool!
you know what would be a nice addition to each module, a button or lever in each module except the docking bay to detach the individual modules that is behind instead of ejecting all from the cab
I JUST LOVE YOUR VIDS!
Thanks Original_Name :) I'm glad you like them!
Nobody expects the Bacon Inquisition
Amazing video!!
Thanks again Delta Pig!

Ah yes, I too use my truck to explore the ocean.
Like both of you guys, glad to see the collab.
Thanks JAYINATER! I thought it would be a fun surprise! 😁
@@iAletho It was.
I hope we get more new vehicles in subnautica 3 so i can watch more of these videos
We still have at least one more vehicle to cover YK!
this vehicle was way to powerful. You could go kill leviathans with its ramming. the process was: ram, jump out and repair, get back in, repeat.
trade offer:
I receive: 12% hull damage big ass shark thing receives: Death
Was so excited for this, the seatruck is so slow but I love how it’s really modular
I love the concept of the vehicle, execution not so much, but I'm glad you liked the video Jelly Guy!
The seatruck is textbook definition of Jack of All Trades. Is mediocre at everything but can still do everything
I love the way you explain even if Bacon almost stole your video lol. I mean you just explain so well man! I guess the next video is going to be about the Neptune Rocket isnt it? Beside that your videos man you are very underrated!
Haha it will certainly be covered at some point Bike Fan, so watch this space as it will be coming in the future! :)

I can say that bc of bacon i have fund a new great subnautica youtuber.
I never knew Last Bacon would have a cameo in this video
Jack of two trades but master of neither
Oh damn a collab!
And I wonder how the seatruck only uses two powercells even with modules but the cyclops... Thats a hefty boii
I really wish this stuff came in subnautica 2.0
When I first got the sea truck I didn’t know you could steer the modules so I reversed into them over and over until one of them broke without me even using it
I think I’m the only one who likes the truck more than the moth or cyclops. I really like sucking fish up lol
The aquarium was very functional, easy way to get food
I use it to eat the glass, just me ?
I liked the seat truck in early release once I found out that was all we were getting I got so sad
Aint no way lastbacon fish?!?! Wow
Another awesome video! I liked the seatruck more than the seamoth, the module system was more appealing to me. Especially being able to play music in it!
Thanks James! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Sea truck seems interesting. I would prefer larger cabins or larger storages if I were to use it in original subnautica. Adding in things like a mobile scanning room, escape pod, or external air supplies would make it extremely useful. Or having multiple bays on it which repair or recharge other ships like a prawn suit or a sea moth, would allow you to use it as a mobile base. If they made it bigger, they could make an alternative to the Cyclopes with more versatility in exchange for less health and more expensive. Or make an even larger submarine than the Cyclopes using this system to act as a mobile base with smaller sub bays, and the ability to purchase the modules as needed rather than up front
I never liked the Seatruck. For the first playthrough i build every module out of curiosity. But the modules where never needed so that was the first and only time i made them.
Some ways I think would really improve the Sea Truck would be to be able to use everything in the storage modules for the Fabricator and to make it faster with more modules attached. Seriously its slower than the Cyclops with only 2 modules...
Nice video
Thanks Troy!
i never used the aqarium module for obserwation it just was a storage for fish that i could eat.
Best crosover ever
Hell yeah Nikolas!
Snow fox is useless since you practically jump off it every time your character hears an ice worm
Damn i be watching this after the cyclops video and realised its as fast as the cyclops without modules
Yep they are quite similar!
bacon collab :D yay
Oh shit, neat. I never played BZ, so this is all really new and cool to me. Hope we see that in Subnautica 3 (2?) at least. It'd be really neat to see it stuck into the original game but I kinda feel like it might compete with the Cyclops as a mobile base, at least after a certain point in the game.
This would have been a great addition to the vehicles of the first game, but it shouldn't have been a replacement.
LETS GO NEW VID
Cheers for watching as always Strawberry!
