Artificial Origins I - Ambient Modular (Chainsaw, Freak, Magneto, Lubadh)

- Looping atmospheric ambient track, using just a few modules. FX Aid providing reverb. Chainsaw chords processed by two Freak filters, one for saturation distortion the other for filtering. Hydrasynth improvisation was recorded into Lubadh for all the other sounds.
Shot with the Sirui 35mm Anamorphic lens.
Recorded direct to DAW.

Beautiful swells! The Chainsaw sounds 💯 I love how simple it seems, yet how deep and complex the layers are. I was zoned out for awhile just listening - loved it. Great work again!
Thanks. It's a great module. I'm using about 50% detune, plus both Freak filters are adding a lot of extra harmonics, one is set to Steiner-Parker filter at high resonance, the other is on Analog Distortion mode. It all makes for some real thick soup!

Beautiful work. Been trying to get a similar moving pads via the Stereo Dipole and 4ms Ensemble Oscillator but nothing like this. You’ve done it here in a much more efficient package and it sounds Wonderful. Did you use a quantiser?
Thanks, Jonti. The Chainsaw chords came from the Sinfonion's chord output, so I guess you could say I used a quantiser, but I just stuck to the single chord. I was quite interested in the Ensemble, but I don't think I have room anymore

Thanks! Oh man, I love that thing especially through the Freak filter, but even without it, it sounds amazing, goes really well with the Sinfonion for triad chords, I only wish it had a 4th voice! Going to be fun to use it for Dub Techno chords in Part II.
