Great show, great days.
Fascinating to see this. I remember it vividly despite being just 5 years old at the time. I'm one of those "lost generation" of 90's kids which didn't get their Doctor Who back then. So this (along with the Paul McGann movie a few years after) was as good as it ever got at the right age back then! lol This little story gets massacred now by serious fans but jeez was it amazingly fun to see all those Doctors and monsters! In bloody 3D too! (the modern series could try that again sometime for Children In Need....).
Clive Dunn is great in this, he would have been about 73 at the time but because he played Crpl Jones old in Dad's Army, he hasn't aged!

Clive Dunn was 48 when he started Dad's Army as Corporal Jones, so no need for hair dye or make up in 1993, as you are right, he would have been 73. Sadly Clive passed away in 2012.
