Slides are tough man tried my best lol.
On a serious note I made a list of tips for my gameplay:
(Emongg tips): Work on better positioning and be more proactive with ults.
(Chat tips): Work on aim and let charge shots charge more.
(My tips): Use disruptor more effectively and I look confused a bunch.
As well someone in chat said that jumping before slides makes u jump higher, it seemed that was the case when I tested it out but still needs more experimenting on different maps.

You can walk around to the stairs too, if your slide fails--especially in down times between team fights.
Big improvements after the first round. Especially on Bastion. Having to play solo DPS is rough but I think you did pretty good for the rank that you’re in. I’m sure you’ll see improvements fast.
@@snipingway emongg mentioned this too, although I don’t really know too much about the stairs on dorado since I play lifeweaver a bunch, I should probably check it out. Thank you for the tip :)
slight tip as well for payload maps, jump on the payload and slide from there so you can get more leverage! Keep working though you have a lot of upside
@@ozzy_.. You should load up some maps in custom games and walk around to learn where things like the stairs are. I used to not know either because I'm a Widow main so I just grapple up everywhere.
This is a nice Silver player I wouldn't mind playing with. I'd play lifeweaver to help with high ground control and taking. And once he gets better mechanical skill, I'd play Bap to have an easier time fighting for and staying on high ground.
4v5 or not, the failed hold at 18:00 is the bronziest thing I've ever seen.
It's possible to get to that high ground with Sojourn but it's a little more complicated than it looks. You have to stand still near the ledge, jump, slide, and jump again the moment you hit the ground. I don't know why it works but it gives you just enough height to clamber onto that ledge.

I don't play a TON of Sojourne, but when I do I try to shoot in like 8ish round bursts where there's less spread. I try to limit firing the whole clip at once to just when I'm up close to a target and the spread no longer matters. I have no idea how higher rank people play her, but I'm notcing this player shooting a TON at full spread and seemongly just praying some of his shots hit targets.

on the non bright side, I have incredibly boring work to do today and a personal to-do list that's a mile long. but on the bright side, multiple c9 songs in a single video, so honestly, it balances out.
Tbf he was aware of the existence of high ground, just his mechanical skill doesn't allow the access to it.
to b fair, the slide jumps do not go quite as high as u’d expect them to. there r so many high grounds that r just outta reach for her w/o finding a bit of extra height from some part of the geometry or the payload…
I really wish Emongg (or whoever posts these) would include if it's PC or console in the video title.
The problem with low ranks is the lack of communication, follow up, team-play and map-control. I have given up on comp because of this as Bronze 5 is the biggest tier and I went 5:0 yesterday and still am B5 . It will take me a long way to get to B4 and I am not good at this game. On a side-note: I guess, I should be in B1 not even silver
You shouldn't ask your teammates to pick meta heroes just because they're meta when they most likely don't even play them at all.

I thought the song was saying "They can have toast" It took me this long to realize what the song actually said because I played the video in the background to listen to. This entire time I thought it was "They could have some toast!" I thought it was some kinda inside joke.
DCs happen. It's pretty bad when it occurs but sometimes you just can't do anything about it.
Just today power went down mid game because some road workers cut the main power line.
Luckily it was only QP but it's still a bad feeling to be a leaver.

Blaming luck is a different type of skill issue specially when using the hero abilities just to use them, like using rail gun shot way before it reaches 100 charge
My only gripe is him not moving around the point when the enemy just hid behind it while he shot staying at the front

Okay anyone who thinks it's easy to get that high ground as Sojourn with a slide hasn't played Soj on this map enough 😂 You can do it but as far as I'm aware you either have to start the slide on the cart or from defenders side of 2nd you can do the jump/midair slide/jump again method for enough height to just barely make it.

As for the sojourn, they’ll learn the accuracy and high ground slide jump shit eventually. Good flanks and angles tho

As other commenter said, it's based on who is attacking first. Whichever team attacks first is always red. Idk how the game decides it on symmetrical maps though (like push, koth, flashpoint). I'm so used to it by now I barely notice it.
The enemy have better healers

God, I am starting to seriously dislike pc players. This is a person submitting their gameplay to improve and get some tips. Not to have pc players with a God complex shit on them. Please remove chat from console reviews, I'm begging you.
That being said, to the Sojourn: good job taking out pylon, turret etc. I'm happy to see someone does it. Next, high ground is your friend. Even if you mess up slide, there's always ways to get up 😊 and last, please be more patient with your charged up rails (especially during your ult)/charge them up more.

i agree with the person in chat saying "console vod review? turning off chat for this one". as a console player myself i always find people saying "this has to be console" on every metal rank review, even if its clearly pc. most people think there cant be highly mechanically skilled players on console (blame xim).
i would appreciate emongg to get a gm1-top500 controller player to send a vod review, to prove people how sweaty console players really are.
I don't understand sending in games where someone leaves and you lose. It's no longer even a normal game of overwatch at that point. Surely there are games you lose not due to a leaver...

Every game thats f2p on console looks like this in cardboard ranks. Theres a reason he always says they are specifically looking for bronze area games and they pull the bottom of the barrel to make it better for content. Good players/games equals garbage content. Alot of the intros to these spectating games are the same. "new to fps games", "been playing for 3 months and stuck in bronze" rinse and repeat.
Wish I could keep my eyes from wandering to the on screen chat or that it wasn’t included in the videos. The toxicity there is annoying enough to make me consider not watching these even though I enjoy everything else about them.
This actually hurts me. Just started competitive and I had been practicing the moves on every map for weeks beforehand. I play doomfist and moira and oh boy, do I cook!
And then the kinds of Ozzy complain about me not protecting/healing them (enough). Sad, ain't it.
At the end of the day, it's just a game we all play for fun. No point in bashing others, you can't help what teammates you get anyway

You legit can't climb out of silver bronze unless you're with a group. Only way past that is extensive practice alone which this game doesn't support naturally its all custom maps and I don't like custom maps.
My advice, switch to pc - you are hindering yourself by playing on controller.
