Issac, you need to make a ramp to hook onto the trailer to make unloading easier. You need to look after your body now for a comfortable old age. Advice from one who should have taken her own advice.
All looks good thanks update. Take care of your shoulder have a good day
Nice show, if I was trying to go into farming, and at 71 years old I am not, I would have to watch your videos over and over because you cram so much information into them.
It’s never too late to start 👍
Yes definitely the very best way to raise bottle babies. Done it like this for years as long as my milk mommas are in milk at the right time. Less chance of scours and even upper respiratory issues.
I will be picking up 6 bottle babies in 2 weeks. We are still wet and cold here in WI. Deff have to wait for good weather to have the best success
You’re right! They raise much healthier calves than feeding them on the bottle. You’ve probably still got a good supply up there of bottle calves. Dairies are getting few and far between down here. Best of luck with yours!
Well the calves are doing 👍 so keep it up maybe add a few more nurse cows. Keep that shoulder place and moving, can't have you out for surgery to much work to do!
Nice looking calves. Love them. Great job on the video. Take care of that shoulder.
With the price of milk replacer. Yes that's the way to go. I will be doing bottle calfs again this year.
That’s a good point! And a whole lot less work for the farmer!
Good looking herd...
That's amazing that you are able to get these cows to accept and raise these orphan calves.
My jersey loves the calfs like they are all hers . I do 3 then I do 2 so I get 5 calfs a year off one cow
Jerseys seem to make the best nurse cows! I’d love to get one. Most of them will let almost any calf nurse. And 5 is probably a safe number. Not sure if I’ll try six this year or just stick with 5. Thanks for watching!
Really like the calfs. Thanks for the video.
Take care of that shoulder. Good luck with the calves. Peace from SW Florida!!!
Take care of that shoulder Issac, you will thank yourself when you are older. Thanks for the video.

Awesome video Renkoski. Just amazing
“Ridiculously large,” yet cute as can be (all calves are adorable). Interesting to learn your strategies in assigning them to be thriving additions to the heard. Thank you for the newest upload!
Transporting those calves old school!!
Yes sir
I am glad you are feeling better Issac. The calves look good.

Awesome Video as Always!!
Nice work! Can never raise a calf as good as a cow can!

Good return on ur investment. Hope ur shoulder heals quickly. Ur are well muscled to lift those calves
Would love to find dairy X Hereford or dairy X Simmental
What age or weight did you sell the calve at?
I was looking into getting started with this. I was raised around cattle and I’ve wanted to get back into them, but I don’t have enough land for even a good sized herd.
I have plenty for a couple of nurse cows and a load of calves. But I’m wondering how I could even break even when calves are going for $250 in my area and sale barn prices are $287 for 350 lb calves right now…
Have you explored this idea any further?
Any updates?
Pharo Cattle Company bull sale in Springfield stockyard around April 7?
I think I’ll be there. Don’t know for sure yet.
Al’s goo rdem
Unwanted advice: Give up soccer. Then raise more calves.
