It's so funny how the dragons are shocked. The guys got a great offer and they took it, why wait for the other older dragons, who don't get it, to lowball you.
This was Steven's business. He's young, knows digital marketing, straight away MENTIONED that aspect of their business was lacking. They totally forgot the other Dragons existed for a moment. Beautifully done hope it takes off !
I don't know why Peter is so shocked he engineered this situation by forcing the entrepreneurs to give feedback on Stevens offer without making an offer himself. 6:25
Their faces at the end like they all been rejected instead of the dragons rejecting him😂😂
Yup! 😂😂😂 Classic!
Like the hot girl in the club who's been rejecting everyone until she gets rejected herself 🤣
Steven and him got in the zone, they totally forgot for a moment that anyone else was in the room
Exactly.
This literally happened before too, when Debra offered them, they tried to listen to the other dragons and Debra threw a tantrum and pulled out just because they wanted to hear the other options. But here she is shocked! Crazy
@yannick9473no I’ve also been watching and this has happened before
Perfect pitch. This guy knows what he wants and which dragon will suit him.
That was masterclass from Steven.
Not really? He just did what they all do in every episode for every pitch, and the guys just chose to accept it instead of listening to the other dragons. He didn't do anything particularly unique or special, that's why the other dragons were so baffled.
@jechtx7368 I'm not sure I agree, when they suggested a new deal with him fronting all of the money he seemed to immediately notice that they had no intention to even entertain a split deal. He saw that they laser focused on him and he grabbed that, he laser focused on them in return and used their preference to to give a counter which he thought would be perfect for them and him, and also one which would likely eliminate them snapping out of the focus and considering any other dragon. I think he was very intuitive.
Both parties read each other very very well.
WOW!!! How fantastic is that?? Watching all the other Dragons so shocked was, to me, BRILLIANT!! Well done lads 👌👌.
Steven pulled a “Mark Cuban” move 💯 he’s been watching the Tank. 😂
What's that move consists of?
And renounced for?
And how famous and popular is this so called social enigma and cultural expressional happening?
🤔🤔🤔😬😬🧐🧐🧐🤷🤷🤷
@@originalunoriginal4055 I don’t understand your question
@@originalunoriginal4055are you good lol?
That was funny. He didn’t even give the others a chance to talk. 😂
I've seen and heard 1000s of pitches in the past decade as a professional pitch trainer but this is certainly one of the Top5 I have seen. Very well structured, strongly executed and they went in the Den knowing exactly what they wanted - and with Steven they got it! 10/10!
Astute businessmen, a good deal for Steven. This will be one of the success stories for sure
Agreed
Now THATS how you strike a deal......IN / OUT.
Snatched it. Gave no one no chance.
Savage. 😂😂😂 best little segment in the entire history of Dragons Den.
This is how it's done. You have to be ruthless sometimes.
that is the mark cuban strategy and is works and catches the otheer sharks off guard
Very cleverly done by the 2 men! Spot on.
Peter shouldn't have asked what they thought about the offer 😂
It was to support SB. Game behind the game dude.
@@breeze_japanesehe asked because if they were willing to give up 10% for 50,000 then he was going to offer the other 50,000
Once he saw that there was genuine interest from Steven he realised his risk was minimised and it’s not a lot of money for him but could be a good investment
I think that guy was so clever reading Steven, he knew he was excited about the deal, and Steven would be the one before they entered the room.
WOW, that was fast.
This is the first time I've seen someone come in, pitch their idea, and right off the bat, one of the Dragons gets the deal without any other Dragon having a chance to give any offer whatsoever, and the look on their faces was priceless and surprised.
I'm sure Peter would have given an offer, especially after he heard the entrepreneur say at 4:10-4:18, Millions can be made.
i know right? I feel like I've seen almost every pitch now and this looks like a Dragon's Den first
The punch that knocks you out is the one you don't see, ask Ngannou. Steven delivered a devastating KO that sent his fellow dragons into the land of Nod.
"Ask Ngannou"😂😂😂
There was room to make other offers but Peter asked them for feedback on Steven’s offer and they were smart enough to accept an offer they were happy with.
Peter made that actually happened
I watch this because of Steven … he makes this show exciting, plus I’m a huge fan of his Podcast 🤗.
This is a great match , they should be very happy.
Great guys, great idea and they went into the den knowing exactly what they wanted. I can only wish you guys the very best.
The spokesman was as intelligent man who knew the others could talk him out of it. They are regularly like a stack of cards and bail out one after another. Well done that man.
The first offer Steven made was for half the money and he said he wanted the expertise of one of the other dragons. Everyone seems to have missed or overlooked that. After his initial offer the entrepreneurs countered and Steven took the counter offer.
Why is everyone so shocked?
Steven knew what he was doing his circle in this area is more than anyone, he can get this up and running ASAP! Good for him!
Peter : Do you know what I'm shocked...
Entrepreneur : Thank you 😂🤣😂
Steven is the Goat 😂
They smashed that, didn’t let the others have a say, therefore the offer from Steve wasn’t effected in any way 👏
That was beautiful to watch😂😂
Well done lads!
Oh... trail running. I thought he, more appropriately, said "trauma running"
The guys were right in saying to strike the deal straight away, other conversations would
Be had and may bail out, strike while the iron is hot
Great technique by them!!
7:08-8:30 Well Done!!
Debra 🙄 .....
we LOVE YOU JASON !!!
Wow ! Not seen it coming. well done.
He was correct in taking stevens offer.
The Stephen Bartlet move ❤
Bad Water 135 - world renowned as the hardest endurance race in the world.
Says someone that has clearly never heard of the Barkely Marathon...
That was a hell of a close!
Absolutely , good decision and they knew what they want😂
plot twist: he used UNO reverse Card in the End and judged the judges
What’s up with the editing? There isn’t one wide shot that showed the dragons and the entrepreneur at the same time (I’m 5 minutes into the video). It makes it seem like it’s a fake pitch and they use clips from previous episodes to make it seem real. I know it’s not the case but for the first couple minutes I was questioning if this was fake or not.
They really do come across like old officers who bought their commissions sometimes and it's hilarious.
the man is a sniper
That was perfectly done by both Steven and the pitching dude. Everything he said at the end was spot on. A masterclass.
Sharpshooters !
brilliant deal best 1 quick n efficient
Most of them wouldn't have wanted to anyway
To be fair they offered him the deal when he went in at 50% congrats to him
Take an offer and RUN like the bejayziz!
Stephen is Magic
Great Guy
I would love to know who got him into the Den❤
That was some jedi mind trick 😂😂
Well done Steve! If you need an out of the box brandable / events and ticket platform, community, coaches and more... have your team hit me up!
I would have done exactly the same. This is the fastest growing sport in the world and these guys know that they need social media and digital marketing. Steven knows that also and it was the right deal.
He wanted Stephen specifically
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Nice to see the other dragons humbled.
At the end of the day its all business.. Dragons!!
First time I see Steven getting a deal most time he would just say I am out
Should do that more often
Stop greddy Peter 😅
I have been waiting to see such a pitch for a long time!
This is my joint favourite, following the Gener8 pitch.
Jones couldn’t understand the inner strength of this man, moving from one challenge to another.
Joel and Steven had such synergy, I could feel the energy bursting through me whilst watching in admiration. Wow 🤩👏👏
There have personal bets between each other and Steven is up
What just happened! Thats a first
Out of Mark Cuban's playbook
I think this show is suffering from fatigue now
lol aye
1 dragon. 4 geckos
Wow shocking!! But we don't come here to see how it's already been done, this show is all about doing something new. I'd have waited to see what the others said, at the very least to perhaps leverage Steven's offer. But each to their own!
OT: Benny Hill considered funnier than Monty Python by two TV stations --WOR and WLVI!
I liked and enjoyed this entrepreneur's pitch. Kudos to him with his no-nonsense approach in closing the deal with Stephen. I was so impressed by his presentation that I'm going to dust off my 20 year old trainers and hike madly up the back slope of my garden. Great video!
The Dragons egos erupted but he cut himself a good deal with the person he wanted '
I love this outcome! So assertive.
FANTASTIC company and mission. FANTASTIC pitch. FANTASTIC deal, and FANTASTIC dealmaking strategy. Absolutely fine. Bravooooooo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
the brand similar to One shoes
Brilliant !!!!!
Non sportsman like move by Steven. Its similar to the trail runners taking shortcuts.
THAT WAS EASY.....
How smug Steven looked after the deal was struck....
Did the deal go through?
Well done Stephen. Those dinasours just love talking about some pointless things.
Great move Steven
Steven just bulldozed pass the Dragons Den Titans and claimed his prized! Epic move by Steven!
WOW , that was speedy ! It was like 1 2 3 … you’re back in the room
Amazing
THE FACE ON DRAGONS WAS GOOD I HAVE NEVER SEE THAT DONE
I wonder what this is…I’m trying jogging 🏃🏻♀️
UTMB??
Very smart!
Well done
After the pitch.... I didnt know what they did...
If the other dragons really wanted it, they would have interrupted.
Exactly, no-one would want this, basically investing in a running club which anyone can do. He didn't even ask where the revenue comes from - is this a joke?
The rest of the dragons are honestly so lifeless. Deborah particularly.
The sly nod to confirm the deal. A offer, A counteroffer and the actual compromising on both parties offer. Yep let’s go. Done. That’s how men do business. No pussyfooting around.
Er- UTMB !!
Exactly what I was thinking. They have a good brand, good name and are international. When the entrepreneur neglected to mention UTMB when asked about their competition I thought that was quite deceptive.
He was wrong. I've never seen a dragon change their in the manner he said. They messed up by at least not listening to the other dragons and a red flag for Steven Bartlett who's invested in a trigger happy owner.
Wow I’ve never seen this on DD that was a power move 😂
As the fellow said , business is the toughest endurance sport. No great wealth or fortune has ever been made over a an afternoon of tea and crumpets. Serious business is a contact sport and there will be winners, losers and collateral damage, the audience here is looking for a much more civilized sport.
5.10 Tuka does his best dinosaur face.
The others thinking too much was funny.
Is Stevens whole thing just "digital marketing" (ads on TikTok)
